Yep. I just visited one of the apartments where she grew up in Arnhem during WWII. Arnhem was a slaughterhouse during “a bridge too far” operation Market Garden. I’m about to order the book “Dutch Girl” which is supposed to be a fantastic biography of her life, particularly during those war years.

What bothers me is that no role "belongs" to an actor or actress. While I loved her in this movie, If they ever remade "Roman Holiday" whoever the actress is that they get to play her role would bring her own charm and character to the role. She was a beautiful human being recently I watched The Nuns Story this is my favorite Audrey Hepburn film because she's not the glamorous star and she gives an amazing performance anyone who dismisses her as a just glamorous star should see this wonderful and in my opinion forgotten film when I saw Audrey warmly holding an African baby in the film I can't help but think about how much money she raised to help African children
