The data contained in those tones are for what area the warning is for, the effective time, EAS alert code Example: TOR: Tornado Warning, and who issued it. For those who were curious :3

As a very proud canadian, I have recently discovered that the EAS alarm is very loud. Like VERY loud. It always scares me when it plays cause I'm in an EAS phase, so I recognize a lot of EAS alarms. Just to realize its a test or an amber alert. Never an earthquake or smth.
