I randomly stumbled upon your channel while searching for updates on Lucca. I love your style of travel videos! I've visited Lucca a few times and it's one of my favorite places in Toscana, even more so than Firenze, Pisa, and Siena. It'd be great if you could make videos on off the beaten path places in Toscana and other regions...places such as Massa, Viareggio, and small towns in Garfagnana. I also love Emilia-Romagna, places like Ravenna, Bologna, Ferrara! My Italian friends told me that it is still not easy to travel in Italy but I can't wait to come back later this year or next and explore the country! P. S. You may not have expected this but I'm learning how to correctly pronounce the names of Italian places, thanks to your clear voice!
Hi, thank you very much for your compliments! And yes, I love the fact that you're perfecting your Italian pronunciation, I try to articulate Italian names so travellers can learn how to pronounce them 😉 Unfortunately yes, it's still difficult to travel inside Italy so we haven't had many chances to shoot off-the-beaten-path videos like we wanted. It seems like you know Tuscany really well! What is your favourite place apart from Lucca? And what is a place you'd love to visit but you still haven't had a chance? As we cannot travel, we are shooting travel guides for each Italian region from our home, maybe you can find this playlist useful for your next trips to Italy: th-cam.com/play/PLkISSlPzOWxqKHB_32IiZOfIh8ZMusBfq.html (there is also a video about Tuscany, it is targeted to people who have never been so you probably will find many things you already know, but I think you might find some new useful information about food and local events: th-cam.com/video/X1U0KcBuTQs/w-d-xo.html ) And if you happen to stop in Pisa again in the future, you can watch here what else you can visit around the city apart from the Leaning Tower: th-cam.com/video/6HPuEMhMfQI/w-d-xo.html 😉
I grew up just outside Lucca in a small town of the Garfagnana region it will be very nice if you could show what is outside the famous walls outside the city .thanks
Ciao.i had the opportunity to have I grew up here during summer months from America. My parents are from here. The biggest Diamond in the Ruff!!! Indeed!!!
Cool so you know Lucca quite well! Would you have added some other attraction to this video? Now that you are an adult do you come often to Italy? Hugs from Italy
Love your videos. Thank you for bringing us to Lucca. My husband and I walked the city wall back in 2013. Beautiful town with so many churches. Will you be visiting Bagno Vignoni? We missed out going there after we visited Pienza.
Thank you! 😊 Yes, Bagno Vignoni and other Tuscany villages are on our list but at the moment it's still quite difficult to travel inside Italy 😣 Have you been there or is it on your wish-list?
Hi, I am Reza from Islamabad Pakistan..what you show in this video is very beautiful and historical city...If it's possible show some of the beautiful places in Tuscany because I am interested to know more about Tuscany places and want to visit this amazing land very soon. Regards
Hi Reza thank you. Check out my channel, there are already many videos around Tuscany: Florence, Pisa, Montepulciano, Elba Island... And I will do more in the future!
Hi Julia. I am planning to go to Italy to practice my Italian for a test and I was wondering if Lucca would be a good option to interact with native speakers.
Hey Leonardo, good luck with your test! Lucca and Pisa are very similar, they are both small cities and their dialects are some of the most neutrals so I guess they are good choices to practice Italian 🇮🇹
Thank you! Are you referring to this video or others? Because there are no books in this video, I think you are talking about other videos we shot from home. I am a fan of travel guides, I have a ton of them 😁
@@lucadantiga5316 oh, you might be referring to the Lucca Summer Festival! So exciting 😃 we also shot 1 video about your beautiful region and 2 about Venice, we would be happy to hear your feedback on those too ☺️
I just travelled across Italy from South to North and I have to say Lucca was MY FAVORITE!
Spent many summer holidays in Lucca staying with my relatives. My dad was from the city & its my favourite place to go to.
You have a great travel channel. Very informative, concise, entertaining and nicely filmed!
Awwww thank you ☺️☺️☺️ we do our best to give our insider views of Italy. Have you already visited Italy or planning to go soon?

If you like antique markets (alla Arezzo) Lucca is filled with stalls on the 3rd weekend of every month.
