Great idea. People at our FLGS show interest and watch our group play but seem perplexed when someone starts explaining it.
Same at my store. I don't explain it much beyond that basics that may attract them. But we always have people looking. Its just getting them into it.

Hey Scott.! I also play heroclixs with my (recently turned 5 year old) son. While enjoying the game he is learning to read, add and subtract. He can add any 2d6 combination with ease. He get's super excited to see double 6's and double 1's. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work.
Do you do battle reports aswell? This channel is interesting as hell even tho I personally do not play the game. But this make me intrigued.

I'm returning to the game after 6 years, thanks to a friend and the Happy Little Heroclix channel.
I sold my collection 6 years ago, (because toxic ex), and now starting from the ground.
I choose the F4 Cosmic Clash, and don't regret it, solid figures, maybe an starter more advanced and that suits better for me that I'm no totally new to the rules (I was judge some times).
This one looks like a great entry point with some cool fillers, and even some interesting bystanders tokens, but not suited for my needs in comparison with F4 Cosmic Clash.
I'm glad they made different kinds of entry point.
Also I liked a lot the scenario campaign thing, makes this an interesting alternative boardgame option to break the routine.
I didn't know campaign's existed in this game, like plots?! What a cool concept :D
My son and I began playing Heroclix when it first came out. He and I still play to this day, when we can. The set sounds great fun. Be safe. And, yes, it's around 13 or 14....but they come back around. 😉
This seems like a good way to introduce the game to new players, but it also seems a little expensive. I hope it has the effect of bringing new players to the game.

My 9yr old daughter loves playing a basic version, this is a cracking idea to get some new blood into the game.
I'm actually going to probably pick this up. My brother and I get to play infrequently: I am rusty, and he is just beginning. I think this will be fantastic tool to get us up to snuff! I hope a Justice League vs. Legion of Doom and Turtles vs. Foot Clan will be down the road. =) I'll take versions of superhero chess! ;)

I think this set looks fun. I like the Red Skull.
When Scott mentioned his son, I thought about the other night of a man looking at the game and talking about getting his son involved and playing with him. We have two young players already in our group.
I really am enjoying Fantastic Four one. Dr. Doom and Silver Surfer are awesome with awesome stats. I only wish the errata for it came in the box instead of me accidently finding it online. But the errata makes it even more awesome.

A wonderful set, I can't wait for this and the Fantastic Four set coming out next week. One question, Iron Man's 102b card states there's a stop click, but the card doesn't show where the stop click is, is that a misprint?

I really wish Wizkids would maximize all their dials like this! 2 Click 3d booster figures is such a waste. I love when they are more variations on a single dial.
Am I alone in thinking the 'basic' dials are way, way better than the 'advanced'?

I have to say this is a fantastic Idea. I myself played when it started and I did the regenesis event and I was completely lost half the time. I will buy this and then go back to using my ❌-MEN Regen. Guys.

Now that I've looked at the stat cards of the figures, I'm not really sure.
I will start with what I do like and that is the campaign. I wish there was campaign set with player chooses whatever team with X amount of points and the players (perhaps multiple on one team) get X amount of points each.
I like the DC box set and I really love the Fantastic Four box set and that they offer new players everything you need to start with rule book, map, ability book, etc. Silver Surfer and Dr. Doom are great. But this set I'm not sure on. I'm all up for starting up new players with good box set but I wish the "advance" one was bit more .. . . flashy somehow. I'm wowed on the new upcoming FF brick set. I don't feel like I need to buy this new Avengers set at all.

@@seiya209 I'm not sure how competitive or good the minis are. I'm not true competitive player but I want to acquire minis that I feel certain that bring something . . . more. I could be wrong and I've not seen My husband likes the set. I do love the FF set especially Dr. Doom in his instant theme force with map that benefits him too. Silver Surfer is awesome too. Well worth it. I like the DC box set too. The minis give little boost with their star ability.

They already did venom punisher in the what if set.. So the what if set and earth x set already introduced us to venomized characters check them out at coolstuff or troll and toad
