@@michaelvanderwal7390 Yeah he's pretty good, I've been seeing a lot of people getting him recently. I'm still waiting for my code... Any day now I'm sure lol
I have this, it's a premium heroclix starter, and board game, but the scenarios falls short for a interesting board game by its own. As a heroclix starter is cool for the price, really good price and overall quality, also the 2 PAC is really welcome, is a pain with new players share the same PAC. My major complaint is that I prefer dials like the ones from Fantastic 4 starter, so one can learn and the use those same with heavy dials against more robust teams.
That's a good point. Having 100/75 dials and only having like 3-4 characters to worry about is a lot easier than trying to use 10 30 point characters (if these were all you had and you wanted to go play in a 300 point game for instance) it can get really easy to lose track of what your doing with so much going on lol
I love the map tiles and I hope they do more. Why do I like the tiles ? So now when I play multiplayer with friends we can pick a tile and turn it to any direction or flip it on either side, allowing the players to have a new map and at least a corner that will give at least a small advantage to their teams. I also wish they would make multiplayer scenarios, but I know I can just change up the rules. Sorry for the long comment.
@@HeroclixHeadquarters I just can’t wait to see if they make anymore tiles. Like your opponent could have indoors and you can have outdoors and running up could change barrier changes big time. And the tiles make a square so it’s even better for 3+ players. Heck you can even make it a moving map. Something like “if no characters occupy a tile replace it with another tile, there’s so many options.
@@lucaskobi7164 I'd bet they'll keep making the tiles for starter sets like this. Those are some fun ideas though! I might have to try it out one day lol
Honestly I prefer the FF Starter because it includes the die, and the Avengers vs. masters was even better because it had everything a player needed to start playing and it was at an affordable price.
Oof, the hard truth lol. I'll admit, I wouldn't have bought it on character selection alone, the new PAC and rulebook was a major factor for sure. Overall I think it's a great starter set for new players, but I'm more excited for the next starter coming out with Empyre!
@@rumpleforeskin1275 well that just depends. If you're playing in a modern age event then yes, you can only play the last 2 years or so worth of sets (wonder woman is still modern age at this moment but might retire in a few months) but there's also silver age which is anything that has a newer card (with the figures dial on it) And golden age which is literally everything ever made. So if your going out to a tournament you just need to make sure you know if its modern, silver, or golden. If your just playing for fun at home it doesn't really matter, you can play whatever you want.
od.....mmmm....yes......heroclix sucks........gamed heroclix since 2004.........the box sits on a shelf.......they do'nt care about fans......why all the big changes......and now more changes.....more to come......they suck.......u do a good job.....
Both versions of that Wonder Girl are really good. I've already used the 30 point version, and she was a huge pain for my opponents to deal with.
Yeah she looked really annoying with super senses on a 4-6 and prob!
@@HeroclixHeadquarters Update: I got the Lex Luthor Brainiac piece in the mail. It's no Fulcum, but he looks cool.

Don't apologize, I love long comments! That's a really cool idea with the tiles though, I never would've thought about that.

Very nice unboxing, i must say i'm missing your top 5 figures vids :-))))
Thanks! I'm actually working on one right now, so look forward to one soon!

They all have dice, and I think this one is only like $5 more than the avengers one so that's not too bad.
They should’ve put the dice and tokens in this starter
Well they put the dice, lol
The only reason I would buy this is for the PAC

@@HeroclixHeadquarters exactly. Super fun for very casual play and introducing new players.
What other DC series are compatible with playing with this set?
All heroclix are compatible to play together. Marvel and all the other universes they have could be played with it too if you want.
I thought that older sets can't be played with newer sets
