You better believe it! and Chris has some of the best vids as he steps you through the process! We used his vid on the Star Lord Quad Blaster to make one at home. Great Father-Daughter quarantine project!
Hey Chris, when doing my PatBat I found if you put the figure in warm water, the glue holding the cape on is likely to dissolve. That way you won’t have to futz with the Stanley knife. Another great job btw!
I love how detailed the base figure is! I went ahead and customized it a few weeks ago but after your video I wanna revisit it. Great video as always, Chris!
Great video!! Now, do a makeover of the batcycle please!! It looks already very good from the factory but I am sure you can make it even better!! Maybe add some tubing, some more washes, some instruments in the dash..please!!! 😁
Hey Chris, can you also do a riddler please? I bought my own and want to try upgrade him but dont know what to do. Plus it would look so cool having batman and riddler together.
I love watching your custom collectibles because they are so cool and I like how you explain what your doing and I like the final results and because of your videos I’ve started doing my own custom figures so thanks for your awesome content and keep up the awesome work 😎👍🏻
I was eagerly anticipating this video, came at the perfect time, as I got my figure a little while ago and wanted to customise it too! The end result here is phenomenal!
Not bad, Chris! I'm personally not a big fan of using shoe polish for washes on figures because you HAVE to clear coat them and that can get messy. Additionally for washes I don't like scrubbing the figure as it can knock down sharp edge sculpting and soften an otherwise sharp sculpt. I recommend the Testors Model Master acrylics myself. I swear by those paints on figure repaints.
@@AlcyoneSong Pretty good. If you get the flat paints or flat clear flats, make sure you mix them really well or they might come off as semi-gloss. Also, if you CAN find them, get their acrylics, not their enamels. Enamels don't work well on softer plastics. Tamiya Acrylics are a good alternative though, but you have to get used to how they go on, and use a slowing agent to keep them from drying too fast so you have more time to work with them and get a smooth finish.
wow, that comparison shot at the end is unbelievable. was really hoping you’d mod this guy and he looks sick! hope i can make mine look just as amazing.
Hey, great video, planning on doing something similar. Something Id recommend is going over the metalic areas with a gloss coat, namely the bat symbol knives and some of the chains and such. You can even use nail polish for this. The reason is because some parts of the suit are metallic and should reflect the light differently from his mat suit.
You need some 3D printed parts to complete this figure. I bought the leg holster and the sticky bomb gun as well as the movie accurate wrist gauntlet grappling guns. The grappling gun that came with the figure is oversized. I also used the soft cape from the Bendyfig The Batman figure. After painting the little details the figure looks incredible.
I got lucky and found the batcycle when I was out running errands, I've been dying to pick up one of these for it since. I'm really looking forward to trying this
I'm a Fan from Pakistan, I've always wanted to get these action figures and do these things but now I'm too busy, but seeing what you do makes my day! I feel like a kid all over again.
BRAVO!!! Looks great! Im so glad you went ahead and did this one and I'd knew it was only a matter of time until you pimped the Battinson figure! Im also glad you got the figure without the QC error cape! I've been trying to get that figure and I keep getting the ones with the QC error!!!
Awesome custom.im not confident enough to do the cape but I love doing the shoe polish weathering and silver dry brushing.im not sure about the face as I'm worried I will make it worse lol thanks for the great tips.
Amazing tutorial. I did this today. Unfortunately for me I couldn't find the right material for the cape... so I just put the plastic one back on.. still looks unbelievable. Thank you so much for this! It added so much life to this figure!
Love it!!! I have been planning on picking this one up as I have a vehicle on order and he's the right scale, but was concerned over how much or how little distressing I might have to do on the shiny bits. Thanks again Chris.
Damn these customs are way better than some of the originals! Now i know why some ppl are into the custom game!😄
You better believe it! and Chris has some of the best vids as he steps you through the process! We used his vid on the Star Lord Quad Blaster to make one at home. Great Father-Daughter quarantine project!
The show polish technique is an absolutely brilliant tip.ive used it so many times.it works literal wonders with SW ships and figures.
Yes,I am also doing their own customization.
of course it would be better, the original had to be mass produced
@@terrakotta6293 yeah,That's exactly what I'm thinking.

Fabric for the cape pls?
@@premogc8859 that’s where I’m stuck at. My local fabric stores are severely lacking so I’m going to have to look online

The original figure already looks great, but this makeover makes him really special. Fantastic job!
McFarlane makes some great figures
The details and sculpt of McF toys really pops out when customized
@@shadowanderson2004 they really don't
@@alexanderbanegas7622 okay marvel legends meat rider
The only problem with mc farlane toys is that you need to customise the shit out of them
My son just got one and already has plans to customize it thanks Chris you've been a huge influence on his customizing
It's amazing how only a couple things can take something to the next level.
The end result looks absolutely amazing. Might have to try my hand at this on my figure.

I can’t believe how amazing this looks. Great job👍
Oh man he came out wonderful Chris. I'm definitely gonna try my hand at this once I get my battison figure in
I already commented, but wow, just wanted to say that this turned out great. I will look at replacing capes based on this. It really adds so much.
One of my favorite customs Chris! The detail turned out magnificent! What a treat!
Hey Chris, can you also do a riddler please? I bought my own and want to try upgrade him but dont know what to do. Plus it would look so cool having batman and riddler together.
The timing of this video is perfect considering I'm currently customizing my own Battinson figure
If ya take off the "butterfly joint" plastic connected on the torso u can get much more posability in the arms without the arm popping off
Wow, what a difference!! Great job Chris, seriously!
Love it I have a new found inspiration for customizing

I like what you did on the face, that makes a huge improvement!
I love this figure, was really hoping you’d custom it!
Looks incredible! I didn't really like the original figure, but this improves it sooo much
the shoe polish for the face part looks easy but the result is amazing 😮

Thank you Chris!! That was an amazing end result. Love your work! Keep ‘em coming!! Take Care!
Brilliant job as usual, Chris! You always make figures look stunning!
Honestly, this is the best custom figure of this Mcfarlane Patman so far!! Good job as always Chris! Cheers from 🇮🇹
Looks beautiful, man. I was really hoping you'd do this one and the result is, as always, amazing.
You really brought life to Battinson!! Hell yeah!!
Holy hell! Great job, Chris!
This is insane! What a difference, especially on the face!
Wow this figure actually got the eyes down really well. First thing I noticed after the paint job was done
Definitely gonna try this or something like this at least. This figure has so much potential and you've given it the flare it needed.
I love these, keep em up mate😉
Great job! Yeah, I love that liquitex stuff. Much better out of the airbrush than the spray can.
This looks straight from the movie. Amazing!
Gorgeous, nicely done Chris
Another amazing custom!

You sir, deserves my thumbs up! 👍
Excellent work once again. good timing too, I had just got this and the batcylce to do myself as inspired by previous customs.
I just can’t believe how much better his face looks after only a subtle wash. It really looks high quality now

Great job, I’ll buy this figure and try to follow your steps!
Mate, you're insanely talented.
Gotta get this. I recently customized a figure for the first time and am excited to do it again

I bought one yesterday i will definitely follow your tutorial it looks way better
Insanely cool and easy to follow. Nearly inspired me to try it myself
Wow! Amazing!
Thanks for sharing.
I really like the dull black. The original shiny black makes it look like a cheap toy. Great job!
Brilliant! I’ll be doing this to mine for sure!
Love what you did with the figure.
Great work Chris, you are an inspiration. Thanks.
Great looking Batman figure 😉👍
The texture in the cape gives me a Keaton Vibe!

I’ll have to try out the dull coat…. Good job, well done

Wow, this is superb - I wanna try this!
Always do a bad ass job with customs Chris! 10/10 on this one! You should customize the 12 inch The Batman figure from spin master!
Awesome as always! It would be great to see what you could do to the Clown Joker figure from 3 Jokers line to tone down that pink suit jacket
Great transformation. Thanks!

Amazing tutorial. I did this today. Unfortunately for me I couldn't find the right material for the cape... so I just put the plastic one back on.. still looks unbelievable.
Thank you so much for this! It added so much life to this figure!
What you can do is find an old black leather couch that’s just sitting in a local scrap yard and just cut a chunk out
Not the best idea, but you can use it and give the coach a sorta new life
Love it!!! I have been planning on picking this one up as I have a vehicle on order and he's the right scale, but was concerned over how much or how little distressing I might have to do on the shiny bits. Thanks again Chris.
Absolutely incredible I wish I could do stuff like that I get to nervous I’ll ruin the figure
As a painter, that liquitex glazing medium is a favorite of mine. Found many purposes for that medium, not just for painting.
That's just too cool job well done 👌
Wow! Looks Amazing!
looks great Chris!
