What really should’ve happened is they should’ve found Riddler’s “secret hideout” immediately after the first murder because he sent them pictures that he took *through the window of said hideout.*
All they had to do was go to the Iceberg Lounge, look up at the surrounding buildings, and go, ”okay, so which one of these windows was he in when he took this photo? Hmm… must’ve been that one there. We’ll get a warrant to search that place.”
The Canadian lad pointed out that in a few scenes outside the iceberg lounge we could see the Riddler looking from his window.

The fact that Superman was calling Batman to join him at the diner, thinking that the movie had ended as 2 hours had passed by the time they arrested the Riddler -not realizing this is a 3 hour gig- and thus jeopardizing his identity in the process, is just pure genius!

Honestly this is exactly where the movie should’ve ended. Nothing after that scene fit into this movie.
Not everybody checks the runtime before going into the cinema. It's just a number that doesn't say anything. The films ends when the story ends, if you have to keep checking the hour until it's over then it's not a good film.

That Smeagol voice is easily one of HISHE's best jokes ever.
The face scarring was funny, but just for argument's sake: He is shown clearly covering those parts of his face with his arms as the bomb explodes. We've already seen this batsuit is a lot more indestructible than previous iterations of the character, so in universe, I have no issue believing he came out of that explosion ok.

In My opinion the first one is much better. It reminds me Harry Osborn quote "I took grenate in my face!"
How about when he does some actual Detective work and saves everybody an extra hour. I saw the film and it was definitely too long. Get the carpet info as soon as they catch Riddler, check under the carpet, realise there's a whole third hour about to happen, stop it and save the city without hundreds if not thousands of people drowning and massive property damage (since Gotham is meant to be on par with the likes of New York he definitely did not save everybody at the end when leading them to safety).
Smeagol must have had so much fun being in a movie where he gets to solve one riddle after another
Thank you for pointing out Alfred not recognizing the Batman letters; that by all accounts should have been the hiccup in Riddler's plan. That he doesn't put together that Bruce Wayne is Batman so there wouldn't be a reason for anyone in the household to suspect that letter.
But not only is Bruce Wayne aware that the threat is coming, ALFRED PROBABLY SPENT MORE TIME ON THE CYPHER THAN BATMAN DID! If there is anybody who should have recognized the handwriting, ITS ALFRED!
That Gollum Alfred part was too funny to see a regular human casually doing that voice and the Batman not even noticing a difference :D

Pattinson himself said that he would sometimes involuntarily slip into Christian Bale’s Batman voice while filming because it’s so iconic. Love or hate the voice, he’s right.
@@windowsVD My favorite is Pattinson, but I love Bale's voice as well. It's iconic for sure. Not a fan of using a voice modulator as it hides emotions.
@@Abhi-wh3ik Bale is my favorite, although he benefits a lot from having a better written character in my opinion. I don’t love the voice modulator either but mostly because it feels like cheating. It pretty much makes it so that Affleck didn’t have to put as much care into crafting his voice and performance as Batman when it’s the sound editors who are playing a huge role in creating the voice. It felt an over-correction from Snyder in response to some of the backlash against Bale’s voice.
@@windowsVD I like both Pattinson and Bale. Although, I think Pattinson was a better written Batman, and Bale was a better Bruce, and a more developed character. I personally don't like anything about Affleck's Batman, except maybe the suit. I don't think any care, or attention was put into the source material. Snyder was more focused to make him more 'edgy', and as differentiable from Bale as possible. They could've handed him a black jacket & guns, and he would've just as well be passed on as Punisher. His characterization couldn't have been more off.
@@Abhi-wh3ik I can see that to an extent. I think Pattinson's version does a better job of conveying the idea that the Batman persona is who Bruce Wayne really is. In the Nolan films, it's stated but it felt like they never fully committed to conveying that, so the real Bruce Wayne with Bale's portrayal always felt like somewhere in between his Batman persona and his public Bruce Wayne persona. However, I found Pattinson's Batman very underwritten in terms of his moral code and ideology. We're told towards the end that he doesn't kill, but it's never elaborated why nor why he doesn't use guns. If anything, given how brutal and unhinged this Batman is in his early years, it would have made a lot more sense for him not to have a no-killing rule and the movie could have been about him learning for himself why he can't take a life without ever crossing that line, similar to Daredevil in his first season. I like Batfleck's fight scenes and I thought Ben actually did a good job at least in Batman v. Superman. Even though I hated the way his character was written, I bought Ben Affleck in the role as an older more cynical and unhinged Batman who kills people. That being said, I didn't think his performance was any good in either versions of Justice League. He's quite boring as a more traditional and moral Batman, although he didn't have much to work with.
The Alfred/Gollum scene was perfect. Not only does it make sense on a meta level (Andy Serkis) but every line used fit so well as something either character would say

And Catwoman is definitely the kind of lady you go downtown for (although given what she wears, probably best to wait till she takes a shower first, nobody likes sour kitty).

Lol omf I never even though about that. when I watched the new Batman movie I’m thinking yeah… he should have atleast blood on his face or bruising. it was poorly done they didn’t try to make the movie good not really. and then in the original Spider-Man movies Spider-Man 3 Harry gets a pumpkin bomb to the face and it leaves him with a really brutal scaring. 🤷🏻

I'll admit, I didn't expect the bomb to the face joke to last for multiple scenes... but it was hilarious. And Supes being there when he's not supposed to be there... I haven't laughed so hard at an HISHE in years! The Gollum Alfred as well... I think I hurt myself laughing.
These types of comments are trendy on youtube, but I mean, who actually laughs like that to these videos? I mean, it was entertaining and all, but barely even a slight chuckle out loud funny. I'm trying to imagine the type of person who would being hysterically laughing out loud - let alone, laughing so hard that they "hurt themselves laughing".

It's true though, the Joker is a very common recurring villain. On the other hand, the animated series and movies are so good, that I never get bored of them even if it's just another Batman vs Joker.
