      Have you tested domain or brand search strategies in ChatGPT ? I've been testing ChatGPT in the health field and found some interesting results....where ChatGPT concedes lack of knowledge in specific areas. Also in brand searches to see the response from ChatGPT(4) Vs organic rank performance, mainly Bing.
      Results are observational at this point.

    Not sure why people are upset but the video is titled “how blogging is the perfect side hustle” and the reasons were
    •the earnings from traffic on your blog(ads)
    •hours are flexible(work at your own pace)
    •tax write offs when you purchase stuff for your blog
    •low start cost (doesn’t take much to start)
    • AI helps you with small tasks
    •great financial asset (you can sell your blog if it’s making 5k a month)

    That ending killed it. I've also been thinking of creating content myself to show people that blogging is not dead. If anything changes it will be the way we promote or monetize content. Saying that blogging is dead is like saying content creation is dead. If you've used AI, you'll know we still need humans to produce content. Thanks a lot Ricky for another great video.

    FYI. You can not write off all things you buy for blog just because you write a review. You can only make the deduction on items you would have NOT normally purchased for personal use that are for your blog. If you buy a new generator for back-up power for your home, you can not write that item off on your taxes just because you wrote a review. Trust me, the IRS is cracking down on this.

    • @IncomeSchool
      @IncomeSchool  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If I use it as a backup generator for my home, how does the IRS know I’m not using it that way as part of my ongoing testing?
      When you live the topic you blog about, using products in your daily life is literally part of your business.
      I’ve bought lots of things I didn’t plan to buy because my blog or TH-cam channel justified it. Did I make use of said product as well? Of course.
      And if you’re really condemned then once it’s been expensed, you can sell it to yourself at a heavily discounted rate. As long as you can justify it as being for the benefit of your business, you can justify it to the IRS.
      There are lots of ways to accuse this that aren’t legal. But there are tons of benefits that are perfectly legal.

    • @jamesroe803
      @jamesroe803 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@IncomeSchool Totally agree. But at the end of the day it will be up to the blogger to prove that the generator that is providing back-up power to their home is in-fact an on going test and an item that they would not have purchased otherwise.
      The IRS will argue that everything in your home could be "an on going test" and because you have a blog called "JimsReviews" or something, doesn't mean you can write it all off.
      It is up to the blogger to prove that their purchase was intended for business purposes beyond a doubt.
      Another side of this story, which I have seen happen first hand, is the blogger getting double taxed. They purchased tools to review, did a deduction and THEN their local county dinged them with a business tax on all the items they acquired for their "business". Most localities have business property taxes on all tools, desks, computers and any item used in the business.
      I think if you have 5 generators lined up it would be safe to say you are testing. If you have a single generator that looks somewhat permanent, the IRS audit is going to ding you.
      I hired an actual accountant to do my taxes for all my side hustles and I was surprised to see just how much "blog stuff" was not a tax write off.
      Not meaning to be trolly here bro, I love your content!

    Hi. I am a member of project 24, is my understanding correct that you have a very little chance of ranking if you dont do any original research? The reason I am asking is that I find it nearly impossible to follow the recommended timelines for writing a blog and do original research as well. I am starting to think this is going to become more like project many years rather than 24 months 😅

    • @IncomeSchool
      @IncomeSchool  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      There's a balance for sure. The better you know your niche, the less original research you have to do because you can write from experience. But without having experience in the niche, original research is the next best thing. And sometimes some form of original research makes sense for a specific topic even when you know the niche well.
      So even if a response post should take about 2 hours to plan and write, even allowing for a little bit of research, thorough original research can easily turn that into 8 hours. And some blog posts are absolutely worth that amount of time, but not all of them. Probably not even most.

    • @yournatureshaker
      @yournatureshaker 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @IncomeSchool thanks for your reply. So, does writing from your own experience count as original research? I do that in most of my blogs, but I didn't think that counts. I thought I had to collect some data, go through some kind of experiment, contact an expert, survey, etc. So, basically collect some unique data that doesn't exist, right or not?

    • @IncomeSchool
      @IncomeSchool  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      For a lot of topics, sharing original thoughts based on your experience is enough to make your content original and helpful.
      Also, include your opinion. As someone with real experience, your opinions are helpful.

    I don't know why people are saying blogging is dead. I've seen thousands of blogs across many different niches bringing tens of thousands of dollars monthly even after the all the Google updates going on throughout the years. Even after the HCU updates, many blogs are doing great or even better than before the update.

    • @whitehotwonka
      @whitehotwonka 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Because people in SEO typically don't like change due to gurus selling it as passive. So as soon as they realise they have to relearn SEO, its "dead". This leaves a great opportunity for the rest of us who are adaptive.

Whether those who have done courses succeed more than people who don't, well I'm not sure.
