I agree with this 100%! It was the VERY first thing I noticed when I first discovered them (or did they discover me? Lol) and it was so refreshing! I’ve never liked hype. Just give me the info and let me decide. Their integrity and no-fluff is why I paid attention, why I signed up, why I’m still here, and interestingly, has also given me a sense of care for the other members in the community. You are spot on! Starting out is like going down the rabbit hole of blogging, apps, ahrefs, semrush, social media tools, etc. This is the only channel I have come across that matches what I read in the actual Google documents in terms of search and ranking systems. I signed up for a few of these tools, and search volume, SEO difficulty, etc., differs wildly. Some keywords will have a difficulty of 6 in one app and a difficulty of 56 in another app. Both apps are expensive top apps. I like site tracking and using the tools for topic idea research. But even then. Stick to your strategy. Why did you start writing the content in the first place? Great channel.

Hey Ricky! I've been completely absorbed by my day job for a good 6-8 months. But I'm happy to say that paid off! Now I can soon join P24. My blog has been on hold, but still gets about 100 pageviews/day, my Spanish TH-cam channel just got monetized a few days ago, and my English channel has just over 700 subscribers and over 1800 view hours (both channels with just 2 videos published this year). I truly hope that joining P24 will give me that boost and accountability to take this to the next level. I'll probably join over the weekend! Can't wait to get going :) 💪
I have been following this channel for ever and love the free nuggets of gold you guys share here from time to time, but as much as I would love to join project 24, it is way too expensive due to being up here in Canada, you ad 30% more to your price and that is way too much to spend. $577.00 is a lot for some us but it is what it is, but I will always be a subcriber and enjoy watching your content no matter what. Great video very informative..the only draw back is the time the 1st-4th steps in reality can take 6 months-2/3years++ not everyone is at the same starting point . What if you worked as a dishwasher for 25 years and English is your 3rd language for example?? Affiliate marketing is not easy I like that you said this -you guys do great work thx!! yeah

I am one of the mentioned other 30%. Sadly, I quit. Why? Combination of several factors: I choose a niche that I thought I like but know next to nothing about the subject. Not a native English speaker. Not having enough time, even if I get up in 4h in the morning (tried for two weeks) and the daily job was exhausting mentally. Never ever managed to write 1800 words blog post in under 1h 😉...
But after all this time, the idea still looks compelling. I may get back after all...

@@romanvinogradov1675 As far as I understand, not being a native English speaker is a disadvantage, but it can be overcome. When I was active in Income School, there was a hard-working couple from Romania. The last thing I remember about them is that they sold their business for a significant sum. In my eyes, they are proof that it is possible to succeed in this business no matter where you live, as long as you have an online connection, brain, and power of will.

I'm from Brazil. In 2016 I started a diet plant, different from what I tried my whole life. And in one year I lost 45 kilos. Since then my sister suggested to start a blog and I didn't start. Thought that (in 2017) the blog was already dead. Now, I was searching if the blog was a good idea, even in 2022. I opened 11 different videos about this and I tried to understand the best I could from you, to definitely start something, through my experience, some relevant content to help people chance their lives and health, choosing better food diary. Thanks for your video and the explanation how I could reach more people and the gold pot in the "end" of the path.

Hi Ricky, In your cookforfolks website I notice that you have 3 categories (Recipe, Food safety, Catering). So each has a good amount of posts. When I click a post, The URL doesn't have the category part. Just the domain/article instead of domain/category/article . What will be the good URL template? I am using the second method. Do you recommend starting the same blog in 3 or 4 different languages? Or at least offering the same blog in different languages?
Hi Ricky, I already put an Amazon Affiliate disclosure at the footer of my blog. Do I need to put a disclaimer on top of every blog post like "I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post." ? If I didn't do that, will amazon will ban me? I mean, do we really need to tell that to the reader when he lands in the article, what's the point? Nobody forcing the reader to click on links. For the safe side, we are putting this in the footer. Is this a big deal?

For categories. If I have for example "Bikes" as a category could I put relevant reviews in that category or should "Reviews" be its own category?
You could do it either way. For example, if "bikes" makes up a fraction of the content on the side, because you also cover "skateboards" and "scooters" then "bikes would be a category. But then I might have a subcategory under "bikes" called "bike reviews". Or, you just categorize your bike reviews under "bikes" but you keep track of which content all goes together. Because you could have subcategories for things like "mountain bikes" and "road bikes" or you could just cluster content together without using a sub-category structure in WordPress. You just use interlinking to match up that clustered content.

Did it have a step by step standard operating procedure to follow from start to finish?
Ricky, was "cook for folks" hit by the May 22 update? (As per semrush organic traffic, around 40% drop)
I showed the analytics in a video about the update, it lost 15-20% depending on the timeframe you use as the baseline before the update.
Can it be done in 6 months if you have money to spend on content creation?
