@@simonmaron frame and body are all done. Found out I had a bit of Space on the crankshaft so had to do a total engine revision. That why your videos rock! 😀
Hi your video helps a lot and inspired me from Japan! May I ask 1 thing about "blue stainless plate" which may support clutch tensioner. Unfortunately, there is nothing referred it on the manual... I dont know how to attach it.. (My moto is 1978, too). Thank you !!
@@billybones6453 I am not sure whether you can clean that off from the gasket, I would get new one. The metal surface you can clean with some thinner or acetone.
I also had some difficulties in putting it back but with some puzzling and gentle rubber mallet taps all around it went on. Pay attention to those positioning pins in a crankcase, work that out slowly, some force will be required. If you took it out it should got back. Nothing with Ironheads is straightforward ;) Good luck !
no because then it would turn into another 45 minute of the process of which there are plenty already on youtube. These videos are great as they expand on what the manuals are showing you in a short amount of time.
Your videos are award-winning~~
Always looking forward to new videos from this channel. Is so nice and informative!!
Thanks Nick ! How is your Ironhead doing ? Any restoration plans ? cheers !

Hey man what grease are You using when you put in your primary gaskets in? And also what kind of Grease should I use on those three bearings??
hi, for the covers gaskets I use ''prime seal, gasket sealant''. The other is just wheel bearing grease that I use to every ball bearings.
Hey man I really appreciate it
Hey man, what’s the best way to get prime seal off like if you wanted to remove your primary cover

Helicoil? I hear they are outstanding!
Helicoil solves a lot of problems :)
Remember that they take a tap that’s made for Helicoil threads.
