My family's had a bunch of the Mopar minivans. Before Y2K they weren't too reliable for the transmission, but then when they switched to ATF+4 the old 4 speed got super reliable. We've had several in the family that did over 400k kms with no major issues.

4 door 66 Plymouth is in very good shape and yes, a more door is a surviver!!!
The front door vent windows help to prevent excess wind for the rear seat passengers...
    Hope you win that 66!!!!

Did you see the video of junkyard mook? The old ford truck she bought where the whole motor was full of water. They actually had it running for a while and driving before they realized the water in the motor! Watch the video and watch when she drains the oil while doing an oil change. It's jaw dropping. And the fact its still running and their still fixing it up!

On the Hyundai and the shifting problem, the little cover was missing on the left side for when they lock up, If you look at it again Randy have a pick or little pocket knife blade and push it down inside and see if it unlocks the shifter. Someone has been messing with it and probably didn't know what they were doing. And as always thank you for the hard work and awesome videos. And also tap the top of the shifter also

Depending on the price, always the wild card, that Genesis could be a real diamond in the rough. I have a tough time believing there's any amount of water in the engine where there's no evidence of it in the interior. Maybe a deep puddle at high speed....but the body looks great and still fairly low mileage for the year, could be a great buy if the tranny's ok.

Depending on how long that Fury has run from when it ran the last time, it could be a simple matter of placing an emory board between the points and shining them up just a little bit, or the engine is not getting fuel becaus4e the gauge is off and it has a pretty dry tank. That old 318 will run, I guarantee you it will run. I wish I could find me a cream puff like that one. You guys might not give it too much credit but you can put some power through that old engine by just replacing a few parts. A four barrel intake with a 650to750 Holley or something equivalent with new dual 2 1/2" exhaust pipes. Before you know it that old sleeper will be leaving the so-called muscle cars in the dust. It's really easy to push 325 h.p. easily out of that old poly. A little head work and an Isky cam and easy peasy. Take their money or the pink slip.

Good luck on the Fury II, Randy. I agree with you that vintage 4 door cars are worth saving. The market for them is still small, but it is growing. The prices on coupes have put them out of reach of a lot people, especially senior citizen guys like me who have an itch for something from our youth but aren't looking to make it into a hot rod or a show car.

The seat upholstery of the Fury II is not original unless it is part of the Fury Silver Special which was an option only on that year's Fury II 4-door sedan. That option had brightwork trim around the windows and full deluxe wheel covers not seen on the Fury II. It also included upgraded vinyl seat upholstery only in blue. The door cards may be carryover stock. Exterior paint was often silver metallic but was also available in white and a few other colors. The trim code on the data plate may confirm the authenticity of this option package. If not, then the upholstery is generic. The 1958 Plymouth Plaza Silver Special is better known.

Looks like the Genesis got into water all the way to the brake pedal. So the brake switch is toast and it won't let it switch gears. That's why the cap by the shifter has a little square popped open so they can manually switch gears by putting the key or small screwdriver in the hole. I had that issue and it sucked but was so easy to fix
