Most 4.3 liter GM motors are a 5.7 liter 350 CI engines with 2 cylinders cut off. They are mostly reliable and torque monsters for their size. Plus cheap parts all day long.
I owned a 08 Milan for a while which my brother ended up buying from me and using it as Uber ride until he traded it at almost 260 K. It was a very nice car. Comfortable and attractive. Took it on many road trips. The 2.3 L was bulletproof!
I owned an 07 Fusion with the 2.3 L and 5-speed manual myself and I agree 100% about the 2.3 L being bulletproof. It was a great little engine and a lot of fun with the manual transmission. Believe it or not Steeda actually sells a short-throw shifter bracket and metal bushing kit for the shifter and it is really nice. They actually have quite a few parts for the Fusion/Milan/Zephyr/MKZ. I think this Milan had the Duratec V6 in it which I think is pretty good as well. I hope he picks up that Milan, it was a really nice car.
Hey Randy. Can't believe you didn't notice the suspension damage to the passenger side of the escalade. The tire was closer to the fender then the driver's side was. The Toyota was clean as hell!!!
9:37 Since you like the styling but hate the 4-bangers, try looking for an Audi with "S" in the model name (S4, S6 etc). The earlier ones, like around 2010, came with a supercharged V6. 19:51 A lot of the CLA's are 4 cyl. turbo cars built in (if memory serves) Poland and plants other than Germany. The AMG might just be the dress-up package (wheels, seat stitching etc.)
Randy my friend, Your videos are just getting better and better! I can’t begin to tell you how much I appreciate and enjoy them. Second to yours are the infamous Monkey Wrench Mike. Most others are way behind you two. I want you to know how much I appreciate all your creativity and hard work. The only thing I don’t understand is why you’re not up to half a million subscribers, but I’m sure it won’t be long!
G'day Randy, Love the FJ40. Sitting downstairs is my son's 1984 BJ40. It is a cab chassis with a wooden tray and straight-six diesel and 5-speed gearbox. The shorty was the only model in America, but we got all different types like troop carriers, style sides, and cab chassis with a wide range of trays, and the least common, the shorty.
Randy gotta tell ya I love your videos Gotta say I never realized how much until my recent trip to the ER. I couldn’t watch your videos because I was promptly admitted. I was in for over a week which means I had a lot of catching up to do. I was home watching your videos and had to go for my follow up paused the vid went to docs was told I was misdiagnosed with pneumonia and that I have lung cancer a type caused by prolong infection. I’ve worked in shipyards as a electrician so we know kinda the cause but after hours of crying I went home unpaused your video and I was content for the time! Thank you Randy! Scott noble from Maine keep ‘em comn
Hey man it looks so windy out there. Thanks for getting us the content no matt3r what. I Love any of your videos. I'll watch you change oil or vlog away. Thanks Randy
Lots to like in this walk-around, Randy. Thanks, man! I loved the Milan, Honda Accord, the little Mercedes and FJ40. Lots of cool bikes, too and I'm not even a bike guy. I hope you and your family and all of your homes fared well during during the crazy tornado outbreaks over the last several days.
I know it is a bit common or plain, but you passed a 2008-2012 Malibu in Silver and one in White and the 2014-2016 Buick LaCrosse in white look interesting to me. Also the Chevy Cruze in white. I like the Escalade too. The 2015-2020 Escalade, Suburban/ Tahoe, Yukon /Yukon XL are my favorite.
Hi Randy, love the trucks because over here in the UK trucks are absolutely posh mums taxi’s never used for what trucks are built for, keep up with the trucks and bikes 👍👍👍👍
I’m lucky enough to have a 1983 FJ40, that “cute” in-line 6 is no joke when it comes to torque. My LandCruiser even has a third shifter in the floor for overdrive. Quite rare I’ve been told.
Absolutely love the Land cruiser. When I was 19 I left California with the shirt on my back and my blue Land cruiser. Top speed of not even 50 miles an hour. It took me I think 17 days to get to the east coast slept in the Land cruiser. No top The entire way. Best road trip of my life. 49 years old now. I've actually been eyeballing a few and thinking about reliving some of those young glory days and buying another one and fixing it up and taking it back across the country with my wife and my dog just because and do a ton of sightseeing along the way which is something I didn't have the time nor the money for when I was a young man
Whoa that Gold Wing, the traffic police would ride white Honda Gold Wings like that one over here in Bahrain in the 80ties when I was growing up, wow 😲
@@jeremiahsullivan5219 yes from the 80’s to the early 2000’s then the Milan and fusion after that the Taurus did not come back to after they dropped the 500 name but the Mercury version of the 500 was the montego
Awesome video Randy keep it up! The Mercury was a nice looking one and could be worth some time put into it. The Honda wasn't bad even though there could be some hidden damage but still pretty good. The CLA and Landcruiser were pretty sweet would love the Landcruiser any day honestly.👍
Something like that Milan would be great if you went retail. Generally low miles, and known due being decently dependable. Seems like a great sub $5,000 car too me!
i would defiantly scoop up that mercury and honda if your going to start selling to the public.. that land cruiser is going to bring Big bucks! and i like the caddys.. can never see to many, or the gm trucks
That brinks truck looks gnarly
Milan is the same as a Ford Fusion, Randy
I love that generation Accord. I would be great to see that one come to the channel.
Most 4.3 liter GM motors are a 5.7 liter 350 CI engines with 2 cylinders cut off. They are mostly reliable and torque monsters for their size. Plus cheap parts all day long.
Wow! That Brinks truck was hit hard. It is an armoured truck and they don't bend.
The Milan is actually based off the fusion/MKZ platform
I owned a 08 Milan for a while which my brother ended up buying from me and using it as Uber ride until he traded it at almost 260 K. It was a very nice car. Comfortable and attractive. Took it on many road trips. The 2.3 L was bulletproof!

That spoiler on the trunk lid of that Honda gives you 50 more horsepower LOL
The 4 door is the flying spur. I love either car.
that toyota would be a good trail rig
Love the Landcruiser, Ive seen those go for big money. If it goes for a good price you should definitley buy it.
The FJ40 is actually a restoration in progress. It is missing a bunch. Rubbers around the shifters, other knobs and handles plus more.
Grey Ram against the building when you looked at your watch caught my eye
My dad had one this Toyota 1978 in Brazil it’s call Toyota bandeirantes! Great memories.
i had a 73 Honda CB350 when I was in my last year of high school, had lot of girl wanting rides, and love the rumble, LOT OF FUN TIMES.
I would love to see that 2008 Mitsubishi eclipse the orange one I have always been in love with them

That Land Cruise was really cool! I enjoyed the bike section as well but seeing some of those smash up bikes is sad.
The MV1 was one of the last Suzuki sold next to the Kizashi here. Almost all of them were CNG running.
I like the ape hangers on that Harley you were looking at
That was a GNARLY looking Toyota land cruiser , although it needs better wheels
The CLA looks cool 😎🔥
The Milan is basically a fancy Fusion/MKZ.
I'd drive it, I like them.
Thanks for the video, Randy.

So for that CLA it has a pretty rare sport plus package on it. You get the special wheels, bumper, interior. No performance upgrades.
I really hope you find as something . Have a nice day.

V6 Honda is awesome 👍🏾

You should do more super cheap economy cars like the Nissan Versas, sparks etc.

Pretty gnarly….oops, did I hurt someone’s feelings?😂😂
