Hey Phil! Yeah bugger that Widowmaker hill, got the name for a reason... That Waterfall is pretty cool - went up there a few years ago, during Covid - you got to like 100M away from the actual falls and it was closed!! Like that was gonna help... Anyway, I snuck in and checked it out anyway :) Those fish traps - simple genius, love it! Lovely viewing as always mate, Wifey & I both enjoyed 👍
It's one scary hill climb David! Ain't for me...lol Funny with the Whoopi Falls break and enter 🤣 I thought of doing the same my first visit. Was worth the walk in hey 👍 Catch ya mate 😎👍
Phil, you give us some great videos mate! You rode past another aboriginal site, Mary's Waterhole (no water) a woman's special place. Also, down Bark Hut Creek rd on the left is Beautizone rd 200m? along and on the right is the site of "Wedding Bells" gold mine not much left there now, but it did lend it's name to the State Forest. Happy travels buddy👍👍
Neil, your knowledge blows me away mate! I wondered what the name "Wedding Bells" was in reference too. It's hard to get my head around early aboriginal life in Australia, but the little snippets of history left here and there at least give off some clues to the endless quest for food, shelter and just survival. Enjoy your night mate 👍
Awesome mate, lots of palms and greenery in there🍃 and that fall is pretty impressive after some decent rainfall! How cool are those fish traps never knew they were there! Thanks for the vid Phil cheers mate!🙏
Hi Sam. Mate, was more impressive than I thought - even with a trickle of water. She should be going good by Sunday! Fish traps were cool. Ancient survival stuff right there. Cheers mate 🍻
Another nice spot Phil. I'm heading up to the border again in a few weeks. This time as much dirt from Barrington Tops to The River Road taking in Knodingbul and Chaelundi Roads. Should be epic.
Hey, I got my first ride of the year on my crf 250, just before we had another 20 centimeters of now yesterday! Spring is just around the corner though. Cheers from Sweden.
Another great video. There used to be a road called Falls Rd that ran towards the top of the Falls that you could drive a 2 wheel drive down, about 30 years ago. I don't know if any trace of it remains.
Greatly enjoy your vids. Your summary of the 300 Rally was interesting especially the lack of power and poor highway performance. Have you considered the Transalp? It’s truly the unicorn of adventure bikes.
imagine the waterfall in full flow would look awesome, I’ve always had tuna will have to try salmon tomorrow 😂 and what map app were you using then cheers Phil 👍👍
Yeah, it was trickling Johnny. A good flow would be pretty spectacular! John West smoked salmon- was so good! The app I used that day was OsmAnd. It's free and really good 👍
Hi Phil, love watching your vids. Very inspiring. Can you tell me what the make of the air pump that you blow up your air bed with and where did you get it please ? Thanks heaps
Cheers Pete, glad you enjoy them 😎👍 Here's the air pump www.amazon.com.au/FLEXTAILGEAR-Portable-Rechargeable-Ultralight-Inflatable/dp/B09FT7RJFG/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=1C7YPUH2OLKYS&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.26GVF8SnKaKYZ8hdJ0-hwM2zWIEsbQ_7WjBW8rrEOU48EPKvWor1nbTvo4rFdSD6iMQEjGdrRzLbYawQTjDjX7OHZhAUf44CDJdnHGi51V4wEHEZRfJHZLTPGSWc_xnp7kY0lYtG2sVvVq39L_I_tmc_ndLnr8OhyiI_mmjBq6h8wtlVHap6BOYEx1ZUI7H_D-CtmTuGAkMgmhWFln3e2r0ZoaG7dSHb_1wey3qzJi4C8mgymHLLRMRAkxwZJan0UQAhy5ILk4iGpLrFT3FldmFT8LaS5hzkqv7yGSdZdOk.KI-JL1IuGJzksJPzWrtKN6WK_yaMnmWL77K_cJDkxBc&dib_tag=se&keywords=FLEXTAILGEAR+Portable+Air+Pump+MP2+Pro&qid=1712227114&s=sporting-goods&sprefix=flextailgear+portable+air+pump+mp2+pro%2Csporting%2C265&sr=1-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
Ride Map in the Description Box - Enjoy! Support the Channel - www.buymeacoffee.com/philbennettmca - Cheers 👍
I can never get enough of waterfalls! They are so relaxing, whatever their size!
I should have filmed it more, was worth more good footage.
Another great clip thanks for that. That dirt hill was steep and when they are steep on camera they are steep. Nice day ride enjoyed that one
Thanks John, some cool places to explore around there👍
Beautiful locations great video , love the water features
Thanks mate! 😎👍

Sounds promising! Get out there and enjoy life mate 😎👍
Bought the knife on Amazon 👍
Another great video. There used to be a road called Falls Rd that ran towards the top of the Falls that you could drive a 2 wheel drive down, about 30 years ago. I don't know if any trace of it remains.
Cheers Chris. Yeah, I spotted one heavily overgrown track that may have got there. Nothing more than on old firetrail at best now.
Greatly enjoy your vids. Your summary of the 300 Rally was interesting especially the lack of power and poor highway performance. Have you considered the Transalp? It’s truly the unicorn of adventure bikes.
Thanks mate! Ah yeah, definitely thought about a Transalp. Would be a good addition to the Rally I'd say.
Nice green area to ride, and a new snack...your a wild man..😁😁
🤣. That smoked salmon was a winner 👍
Hill climbing was my jam longtime ago bikes and snowmobiles. Nothing crazy like today but nobody followed me many times. Lol
I guess the council put the rocks there for a reason 😂, and the cars as a reminder of what can happen.
Yep! Definitely a good place to wreck stuff! Catch ya 👍
Nice Video Mate
We will be over in that area Mid May hopefully not too much rain, fingers crossed
Fingers crossed mate! Good time of year though 👍
It’s pissing down right now.
@@kdegraa Yeah !!!
I have the Port Mac weather app on my phone and it's bucketing down !!!
