Replace passenger side mirror on 2020 Corolla(DIY)

This video is a little different from the usual, but I figured it would help someone that's looking to save some cash.

Thanks man, I got this done yesterday and I can’t believe I even considered going to the dealer. Toyota quoted me at like $600 for this fix. Since I used your video to do it myself, it only cost me a little over $100 for the part.

This is wild cuz, i hit a trash ben too hahaha, but, at 10 mph, yep heard right, 10 mph. Had it on my dash cam, and got the same ride and year model. You would think it would have folded in like it should have. But nope. Called the dealership since i figured it would be cheap or reasonable or not so bad, but again, hell nah, they quoted me $542. A little less than you, but shit tha same fam.
So i bought the mirror off of CarAuto since RockAuto had a cheaper quality version and Car Auto had a more original reliable. Paid 80 for it, the mirror assembly and all. Then bought the cover part from Toyota to match the color which was 80 like you stated, but i should have bought off the retail. Either way hell of a lot cheapa than from them.
Now im bout to replace with the help of your video, appreciate ya boss.

Was in a hit and run a few months ago on my driver side mirror and did it through insurance & mechanic.. It was $700..
Tonight I over corrected reversing into drive way and scraped the passenger mirror really hard at 5mph.. The back piece is completely cracked and the blinker light is missing.. Think I'mma do it myself this time..

Not sure, best to ask your local dealership is the part the same, pretty sure the replacement process will be the same. Hope this helps.
