I hope these retail horror games branch out and give us more "average job" games in a horror theme. Not that I'm bored of them, but I'd certainly love to see more completely normal scenarios turned into horror games.

I used to work in a dog kennel and that would be a pretty great scenario for a horror game.
Especially that one time when three of them somehow knocked their cage door off of its hinges, escaped through a door I was instructed to leave open because of the electric lock malfunctioning, and they ran across the street onto a nearby construction site and there was nobody else working that afternoon at either the kennels or the construction site and I had to get them back one by one, and they had chased a stray cat all the way to the top of the construction site and I couldn't leave him there looking all nervous and not knowing how to get down so I had to go all the way up the wobbly unfinished scaffolding in the middle of a windy day and grab him too, I thought I'd either die or be fired or both.
Also the faeces wasn't great, how they just shat and pissed all over the floor whenever they felt like it, thank god I was born without a sense of smell.
And then my supervisor yelled at me since I went into his office and used his lead to get the dogs back into a vacant cage, as there were no other leads, but that didn't go well because apparently it was a supervisors only lead or something, which is ridiculous, it was exactly the same as the other lead, just with a nicer, smoother handle/grip.

MrKravin, I totally love this video! I've been working in retail myself for a few years already, and all your commentaries remind me of what's going on in my mind when I'm talking to some people, lol! That's hilarious! XD Yep, customers can sure be scary)))
On a side note tho... Overall, and maybe that's weird of me, but I find this game mostly funny, not scary. The art style makes it somewhat creepy, and that's it for me... And I can't really relate to anything happening in this game either... I think now I must be working in a wrong store then.
That settles it. Gotta quit right now and find a REAL retail store, just like in the game! lol

I love how its just a really exaggerated take on what the daily hell is like for those that work retail and those of us that still suffer ptsd from having worked it in the past.

Retail hell!!!!! I would love to chat with you sometime about retail stories sometime. I have worked in retail for years. I work now in a video game store and I used to manage a Party City. Oh I have some stories.

This game is scarier than FNAF. I lasted 6 days as an Albertson's cashier before quitting without notice.

I worked retail at an amusement park. Once had a customer look at plush that wasn't marked. Told her I would have to get my supervisor. She then came back a few hours later to see if I actually got the info. Like seriously. She didn't even buy anything.

I used to work at Sam's Club. The thing that fucked with me the most was their eyes, man. They had this glazed over look like a panicked wild animal every single time. They would just look past you and it was hard to tell if they actually knew you were there.

Or when you passed down the alcohol aisle to get to the right one and it counted as a fail. Like 'it's in that aisle take 5 more steps Barbara...just cuz you see toothpicks does not mean the flip flops aren't further down...I've worked here for 8 years I know my shit...'

I work at Wendy’s and I feel that. When you order 70$ worth of food and you want it fresh, do NOT be surprised when it takes a while.
