This is made by the same guy who made "Make sure its closed" and "Run to nowhere" I love these games, they're all interesting in their own way. Also quite possibly the best use of HQ Residential house in my opinion.
Games like this make me really appreciate subtlety in horror. Something as simple as the sound of someone running up the stairs behind you or the tiniest sliver of a face watching you from behind the closet door are just so, so effectively creepy!

This was great! The first 3/4ths of the game reminds me a lot of an easter egg from "Unedited Footage of a Bear", a video Adult Swim put out quite some time ago. I don't think the easter egg works anymore, unfortunately, but it definitely had similar vibes.

It is the PERFECT way to use the overused house setup!!! That makes it feel like you've been looking at too many damn houses that all look alike.!!! Very clever!
The true story of that house. The house was owned for several years by college students who threw weekly college parties in it with no signs of evil in sight. After so many parties some of the college kids started doing secret weekly Demon Rituals (just for fun because kids are dumb) causing the house to eventually become haunted to perhaps several other owners of the past? After weeks of Subtle Paranormal activity that was enough for the college girls to begin to move out the house, after everything was removed several individuals broke into the house (Referencing the horror games that used this house) for reasons ranging from dares to studying the house but with more and more individuals upsetting the dead the Paranormal activity begin to become aggressive killing several individuals who invaded the house. Now the house is on the market (this current game) and is trying to bring individuals into the house as it strives for more blood and souls..... Now waiting for the next game to release so I can continue this story time line lol.

Actually p good! The nod to Too Many Cooks makes me think that the similarity between this game and the tie in This House Has People In It kinda game where you walk around the house isn't coincidental. It's a lot spookier than expected!
Must say that this game is certainly a more interesting use of that house asset compared to most, got me as well a few times lol.

HQ Residential House when it's used in another horror game: Ah shit here we go again.
Just gonna say, TV over a beautiful fireplace and hearth is tacky.
What gets me the most about this game is that there's _so many stock assets._ There's all this stock stuff used, and recognizable stock stuff, and this game is still creepy as hell. The most original game I've seen in a long time, and it's using simple assets. Hell, even the original models are easy to make! Adobe Fuse is a very user-friendly 3D program, you can make a fully modeled character with UV mapping in under an hour.

Though to be fair, HQ Residential House is the spoopiest unity asset, that, ever since a house party that went horribly wrong, it's been home to all the spoopy supernatural events. Some say it was blessed by Slenderman himself.

This was really fucking good, i love this types of games. I appreciate these INDIE games more than the majority 3rd party stuff. This is small and effective, 3rd party horror games are long and mostly repetitive in every way or they turn into a shooter or puzzle solving.

I feel like this all is a bit of an ode to Wham City Comedy, especially Unedited Footage of a Bear, which has a segment in the ARG much like this one. I think this is backed up my the Too Many Cooks reference in the kitchen, which was about another one of the WCC/Adult Swim partnerships.
