I remember when I used to work retail, I would be told to stock shelves and I would just get question after question about dumb shit and in an 8 hour shift would get maybe 1 full box done if I was lucky. People would just follow you around as you're helping someone else and then the second you're done with that person, they jump in with their own question and then the cycle just continues.

I swear this pandemic brought the worse out of people.
I usually get decently nice customers on my shifts, but lately it's been one asshole after another. They come in with an attitude out of nowhere. It's like, what bit your ass before you came in?
THANK YOU FOR LIKING MY COMMENT SEÁN!!!! THAT JUST MADE MY ENTIRE YEAR!!!!!!! 🥺😍😭🥺😍😭
I can empathize with you so much. I live in a small town and it's usually fairly calm in our store, but everyone's gone crazy lately.
Yeah. I feel this hard. I work at a grocery store and someone called me saucy to my coworker the other day. Like sir I'm sorry that you can't exit the store out the you door you want to.
This game becomes even scarier when you realize it’s still like this during a pandemic...
Yeah boy
As a Walmart employee, I can attest to this😅😅😅
Yeah
I have a friend working retail.
Poor girl is living a nightmare right now.
I also thought this its ironic isnt it
Jack: "I know the layout of the store!"
Immediately fails*
no you dot
say chanj it avr e time
Cole A umm it doesn’t.
The most unrealistic thing about this game is that the customers always say “excuse me” when asking for something
Speaking as one of the many survivors of the retail machine, I can say whole-assedly that this is, unfortunately, not that much of an exaggeration.
Show of solidarity to all the workers dealing with any and all craziness right now. You have my empathy, and my utmost respect ;A;
Lvcifer Moonchild ty sir i still work for walmart and its absolute bonkers how many people still come in without masks or anything
Rocky and Salty anytime; retail can be enough of a nightmare under typical circumstances XD
(Right now I only go shopping if I *absolutely* need something, & I definitely make sure to carry hand sanitizer, give enough space, & be in n’ out as quickly as possible. It makes it so much easier on everyone else that way! >.
I love how Seán once spotting Lester was immediately like, "Lester, I'm gonna take over your throne." and as soon as he saw the missing poster he slowly realizes what has happened!
Not enough tho. I saw the thing with the wall when Ethan/Crankgameplays played it recently as well.
@@poweredbymoonlight9869 Same, I want Seán to play more

Hey, Jack!
Next time you play, run into that storage closet area with a box in your hand and throw the box at that crack in the wall. Once it breaks, it will reveal a MASSIVE story element.
I haven't seen any of the three people I've watched play this game do this, any chance you can point me to a video that shows this? I'm curious what happens.

*SEAN!! There's actually an easter egg for this game. At the staff room you're in at **15:11**, you can see a crack on the wall, right? If you smash a box on that, you can actually see lester (sort of).*

I had trouble listening with the voice of manager
scariest part is, some of managers i have met...sound like that. ESPECIALLY ones in retail lol
@From the Soil I don’t understand the comment, but I have a sense it’s dark.
i’m a cashier at a very weird store and in my first week i’ve worked there i have been hit on, yelled at, given weird requests, and was even yelled at by a guy because i wouldn’t give him OUR hand sanitizer. by the way, i’m 17 years old, all of these people are ADULTS OVER 21.
so yes, you should be terrified of working at retail.
Awww. Its only going to get worse sadly. I've had people tell at me over new rules that I can't change such as only one pack of toilet paper or one loaf of bread. I had one guy treat me life I was voltimort. This whole cashiering thing is shitty right now. But we'll get through it. Just pay attention and count how many people thank you every day. That's what I've learned to do because there's too much shit everywhere to not have one good thing. So hang in there sorry for the long reply. Have a great day 😊😊👍👍
Ive been working at a gas station for almost a year and ill tell you this is a everyday occurrence. I wish you luck and please dont let it get you down.
I work at a Starbucks and had a probably 40 year old man throw a tantrum and call me a mfer bcuz we ran out of matcha one day. I've also had an older man try to tell and lecture me bcuz our espresso machine was broken and he apparently assumed I did it. People are crazy dude

Theory: The manager’s are cannibals, and they eat every employee of the month, The Manager said “THEY’LL SEE WHAT A FINE SPECIMEN YOU ARE.” they only eat the “finest specimen”, which was Lester, the employee of the month, thus, they will eat the next one too, the title pokes at this, “NIGHT OF THE CONSUMERS” people may think this is pointing to the customers, but the creators may have a different meaning behind it, but, it’s just a theory, A GAME THEO- okay I’ll see myself out.

Imagine your trying to ask an employee a simple question and Jack is just like WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM MEEEEE!!!
Lol I think all retail workers get like that after a point.
What do you mean? That's how all retail workers are like.

it's actually scary how accurate this game portrays the life of retail. And everything Jack says in the time of this game is things I've said over 6yrs of working retail.
I've worked retail a few times. This gave me flashbacks of creepy, touchy old men sneaking up behind me with a suspicious level of expertise. It's nice to have others that understand what it's really like.
