Though I believe this is true: you don’t have to worry about metal in the oil because that is the point of the oil filter, in the first thousand miles the oil filter is collecting any metal shavings in the oil (if not, the oil filter would be faulty!), but the oil is doing lots of shearing and initial breaking in so that’s why the oil should get replaced at 600 miles. Earlier is a bit too soon as the engine does need to break in using that same oil.

200 I thought for a brand new bike you should do it after 400 or when it's close to reaching 500 feel like at that point is wasting oil.
