Also the young man that smoked that bear on the run clearly knows how to run a bolt gun. Thank you for taking me and my young son on this journey.

Awesome hunt. So nice to get out with friends and family. I always wanted to take my Dad to Alaska on a hunt, but never got the chance before he passed. Now I live in Alaska and have my kids here to hunt and fish with. Living the dream.......
Nice vid and story ! I love how you military boys are such good and cool headed shots . Thanks , Hunter and Thomas , for your service to our country . Also nice to see someone putting others before themselves with regard to your dad and friend getting first crack at the game . Awesome Alaskan scenery ! Well done , man !

If you ever plan to get back up here, it would be an honor to help you and whoever you bring out with any sort of thing I could from this end. Stay safe and all the best. -Tony
Tony, thank you man. I can tell you obviously get it. This was definitely a passion project for me, so its really good to hear that people like you can empathize with the emotion that goes into the whole experience. Alaska is a beautiful and wild place, I hope to come back in the next few years.

I enjoyed this video. What did that moose end up measuring? The shooting on that black bear was excellent; 4 (seemingly) perfectly placed shots. well done
Wow I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone make that many good shots on a running bear like that and just be a calm and collected as Thomas was! What rifle setup was he shooting there? He obviously has spent some time practicing with that one! Great video and awesome memories:)
@@hunterstafford5476 Fine shooting, but I honestly would never take such a small caliber rifle to AK. on a moose hunt , although I have saw small black bears soak up a couple direct hits from my 338 and still run about that far,
Absolutely beautifully done mate. On multiple levels. The journey with your dad got me pretty choked up but then so did the reaction to your best mate Thomas's bear (which by the way his marksmanship was outstanding under pressure, clearly a sign of his military training). By far the best hunting film I've watched in the last year on TH-cam. Thanks for sharing it, loved and subbed from Australia

Once again fantastic video for both quality and meaning.
