We can't speak to top-level policy, because we aren't THAT close to the President; however, what we do know is that Don Jr. is a strong advocate for public lands conservation and has lobbied the President hard to support policies on public land access that are favorable towards hunting. It would be insane for us not to support conservation and land access: we'd be reducing the number of potential customers out there...which would be bad for our business!
Jason's relationship with Don Jr. is primarily based on their shared love of hunting, not on political expediency. However, know that Jason, KUIU, and (as far as we can speak for him) Don Jr. are all advocates for hunters, and that we're doing as much as we possibly can to ensure that anyone can go hunt our public lands for years to come.
@@kuiuultralight -----It is all very nice that Donald Jr likes BC and it is very nice he worked his butt off in this hunt and respected the rules of fair chase and respected our laws in not taking an illegal ram, but everyone should remember this hunt took place in Canada and the US President Does NOT have any jurisdiction here. Although I mostly like the Trump Family in many ways, I was SEVERELY unhappy with Trump Senior (US Prez) signing the bill that allowed hunters to kill bear cubs in their dens in Alaska, that issue alone makes me NOT TO WELCOME Trump Junior to my country and province.
Splendor Sine Occasu I understand your concern and likewise don’t support killing bear cubs in their dens. However, wouldn’t it be wiser to let Trump Jr.’s opinions and actions speak for themselves instead of assuming he holds the same view as his gather? And, even if he does, showing him respect as a fellow human and directly asking him about his views on the subject would be much more convincing to other people than attacking him with claims based upon faulty reasoning. If Trump Jr. has made any statement himself regarding killing bear cubs in dens, please let me know.
@@josie4065 ---Trump Sr does not hunt. Trump Jr does. Therefore it is reasonable to assume Trump Jr counselled his father on signing that Alaska Hunting Bill. If Trump Jr disagreed with that Bill his father signed, he should have said so publically loud and clear. He sure is in the "limelight and spotlight" about a lot of other things, so he could have at least addressed the Hunting Community about it, of which he is a very prominent member. And I did ask Trump Jr about that Alaska Hunting Bill on his Twitter Page, but got no response.
Jr.'s a decent shot.
Epic!
I think its funny how he was whispering with a ram 530 yards away, anyways, this was actually a pretty good film
Thanks for watching, Andrew! They whisper because (a) sound carries in surprising ways in the open mountains and (b) in case there are any nearby sheep they're not aware of, they don't want to spook those ones and scare off the ram.
Closest thing to mountaineering.
Awesome.
Sure proud of ya
amazing
Jr's the man!!!
Sweetness!
Ill vote for Don T. Jr. when he runs for prez........Simply because he knows the value of earning your meals.... Well done.
is jason using the ultra nx rain gear?
He wore Chugach for this trip. It's more durable, and he planned to hike through rain, rather than staying still. UltraNX is durable for being as light as it is, but won't handle a ton of punishment--it's best not to beat that fabric up too much.
