A very moving video. Monarchist or not nobody can deny the commitment and devotion Elizabeth brought to her position. Her vow of service, made when still a girl, was never broken. Thank you.
Since Elizabeth II died, there has been much publicity, not so much thought about why she matters. The monarchy shouldn't be used as real-life soap opera, nor as mere material to fill space in the media. Why is monarchy helpful ? In the 19th & 20th centuries the U.S.A, France, Germany, Russia, Italy, Spain and Greece suffered in various ways civil wars, political storms, and dictatorships. This shows what can go wrong in the absence of a head of state which is above politics, and which opposes illegal dictatorship. If there are many reasons England, Wales, Scotland, Canada and Australia have had no civil war since Culloden in 1746, having a constitutional monarchy to unify all the people is an important reason. In the UK, 'peace' in formal speech is "The King's Peace". Of course Elizabeth II & Prince Philip had their failings as parents; King Charles III's first marriage was a tragic mistake; Prince Philip could be tactless. Whatever mistakes the royal family have made, let us be grateful for the service they give, and for the difference the monarchy makes for the better, in the UK & the world. The sea around it didn't protect the U.S.A. against civil war in the 1860s, and the UK could have suffered civil war over slavery in the 19th century, or over world war, economic failure or loss of empire in the 20th. There will always be violence and political problems in the world, and billions of people who know or understand nothing of the huge, tangible power for peace and stability British monarchs are for everyone in Britain, the commonwealth (e.g. Canada & Australia) and for the world. Since the 1700s, billions of people have lived under the British crown without civil war, lynching, dictatorship in their lives. God save King Charles III, and his successors.
her majesty was laid to rest on my birthday growing up i wasn't patriotic but have become so as ive gotten older and realise when you look around the world how truly blessed we are here in the uk. you served your country well ur majesty still unbelievable today your no longer here but in away im glad your not as your son our new king isn't well and no mother young or old wants to see their child ill godbless and rest peacefully always Q.E II and god save the king ❤
The late HM Queen Elizabeth II was not only the monarch of the UK, she was a symbol of an entire generation. The generation of my parents - the generation that grew up and matured in the years of political upheaval and war, the generation that rebuilt Europe from the ashes and rubble after the Second World War. A generation of work, duty, modesty and resilience. May you have eternal peace, Your Majesty!
I remember that day they announced the death of the Queen my heart broke. Watching her final journey i admit I struggled to hold it together. She served faithfully, loyally and with a steadfastness. She is with her beloved husband.

She will be greatly missed, and right now we really could do with someone of her stature to reunify our people after the damage that has been done to us as a nation. Her Majesty was well liked, and well admired across the world I certainly thought she would make it to 100 years old! Rest in peace, your majesty! As your son, King CharlesIII said me flights of angels, sing thee to thy rest! I hope you are reunited with your parents, your husband and your sister!
Beatiful Woman❤... No girl has the beauty and Modals the queen as a young woman had
A very moving video. Monarchist or not nobody can deny the commitment and devotion Elizabeth brought to her position. Her vow of service, made when still a girl, was never broken. Thank you.
Beautiful Tribute to a Great Woman
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it 👍🏻
She was my Queen for 54 years. The only Queen I ever knew
Thankyou so much Patrick Price.

Beautifully done. I'm still devastated 💔
Uts strange how you miss someone that you've never really met. This nations grandma lifetime devoted to the service of her people.
I remember that day they announced the death of the Queen my heart broke. Watching her final journey i admit I struggled to hold it together. She served faithfully, loyally and with a steadfastness. She is with her beloved husband.

Still brings a tear or two to my eyes. I've only ever known Her Majesty as my Queen as most of our population has. She will be greatly missed, and right now we really could do with someone of her stature to reunify our people after the damage that has been done to us as a nation.
Rest in peace now ma'am with your beloved Prince Philip, you both deserve an eternal peace at rest 🇬🇧❤️👸

My family and I watched the queue at Westminster Hall for hours on the TV here in Australia; what was really moving was the reaction of those filing past. God bless our Glorious Queen, and may she rest in peace
