മടിയിൽ വയ്‌ക്കേണ്ടി വന്ന തീക്കനൽ അണഞ്ഞെന്നു കരുതി ഇരുന്നപ്പോൾ അതു പെട്ടന്നു പുകഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങുകയും അതിനെ മടിയിൽ നിന്നെടുത്തു വെള്ളം ഒഴിച്ചു കെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്ത പോലെയുള്ള ഒരു സിനിമ. നന്നായിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതിനായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചവർക്കു ഒരു നല്ല സിനിമ ചെയ്തു എന്ന് അഭിമാനിക്കാം. എല്ലാ അഭിനേതാക്കളും നന്നായി.

Seriously under-rated movie of the year! Brilliant story and even more brilliant execution. Biju Menon in one of his best ever performances. The scene where he walks to the river to bathe, he emulates an old man to the "T"! Yet to see a more original performance ever, even among the brightest stars of Malayalam cinema.
