Can NEVER get enough of this era of the band! One of the greatest psych recordings in all of recorded music and it is fascinating hearing how they were created. Thanks again for all of your wonderful shares!!!!!
My fave album, I love the Ronald mix version too. I traded a Saturday Morning cartoon theme cover CD for it to my cousin in the 90s. It was hard to find Lips stuff in my town growing up.
You should upload your videos to Odysee as well that way TH-cam can't screw with your videos on a whim as they're known to do. On Odysee it will live on the block chain forever. Also, we need more music content on there. Thanks for sharing.
In case anyone missed this - They Punctured My Yolk has a Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz-type connection with the launch of Apollo 11 in 1969. th-cam.com/video/rnJ0511v4fA/w-d-xo.html
Couldn't be more rock than Clouds?? As much as it is, there's no way you can say it is more than Transmissions. No way. Only Chewin On the Apple of Your Eye is the only soft one, Plastic Jesus. Total guitar, bass and drums instrumentation. Lots of fuzz. Clouds has so many pastoral instrumental passages and clean guitars, alongside its fuzz drench, big drums and Ronald craziness, Evil will Prevail Brainville, This Here Giraffe, When You Smile, Bad Days,
These guys make pure magic and somehow Ronald Jones made it even better. Transmissions + Clouds forever
PRIME Lips
Saw this live outdoors on NIU campus, DeKalb, IL. Awesomeness to the extreme.....

I would love to see them go back to a rock band with music in that vein again
Every song title sounds like a B movie I wanna see
🌧🌥🌤⛈🌩 thank you Owen!
Producer, Keith Cleversley, he also did Hum's You'd Prefer an Astronaut, in 1995
Yes! I actually only found that out a couple of days ago coincidentally. That and Transmissions are some pretty good records to have on your resume.
Another great record
My favorite Lips record
It's funny when they start mentioning songs .Every one is phenomenal.
Ronald was the champion of Richard Davis (The Mole[s]).
Damn guys this is inspiring me to get to work on something.. Cheers! TT
Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev and Rollerskate Skinny
because bad days it was for the batman forever soundtrack

Agree. Transmissions RAWKS. Clouds was slicker and more mature.
The Guy That Got A Headache is pinnacle rock.
That socket outlet looks rather hazardous
As bad as that outlet looks, it’s 1000x better looking than the junk Steven is on at this time.
Evil Will Prevail...... that's all I need
God the edits in this ruined this, id rather just read it.
Agreed. Those sound effects he inserted in the cuts are really f-ing obnoxious.
