Those are the most satisfying things.. I had a teacher in middle school tell me he wasn't sure if I was stupid, or just acting stupid- but he thought I was just plain stupid. Fast forward 25 years later and I was an Olympic level athlete and he paid me $50 a month to ride a bike that went nowhere. He later apologized to me for that interaction. I told him I appreciated that, but it's not what people say or do to us that matters. It's what we do with it. We control our reactions. We give them power over us, or we don't.
