Pretty well yeah, the sole doesn’t flex so much but the ankle can move up and down really freely. They feel more like a shoe than a boot and can slip under most pants.
Great video. When I'm out riding, I love chance encounters with other PEV riders. Those jumps are crazy sick, too. I noticed you're running the Grizzla Flow pads. I'm thinking of going to those same pads when I get my next wheel. How do they compare to Clarke pads? Right now, I'm looking at the Commander Mini, Patton, and the Extreme. I'm leaning more towards the Commander Mini because I ride mostly on the road, but I wonder if having a more off road oriented wheel like the Extreme will inspire me to hit the trails a little more than I do now.
I haven’t been on a Cmini but I have seen people getting down on them offroad, if I recall right tire changes are a pain in the butt on the mini but I haven’t heard bad things other than that. I have tried Clark titan foam and the bio pads, for my preference they don’t work out, but I am the type of rider that basically locks my foot to the pedal using pads, kind of rare to see street riders that lock their feet down like this, I ride basically 0 street
@trubttam thank you very much for the insightful feedback. I think I'm going to end up with the Cmini with the grizzly pads with a knobby tire. Maybe I can fine-tune the suspension for the type of riding that I'm going to do on each trip.
Great video, glad your enjoying the Lynx. When your comparing it to the S22 for stability, remember the S22 is so poorly balanced front to back, the great suspension makes up for that poor design flaw to a large extent. But now your on a well balanced wheel with way more torque and good suspension you might find it hard to like the S22 again. Let’s hope the suspension lives up to our expectations.
I think the s22 feels more balanced, the Lynx feels top heavy compared to it. I also have an air shock on my s22, it’s way lighter than the stock shock so maybe my s22 is more balanced, in any case I think the fore and aft balance is less important since we have so much authority over the wheel in that direction. Something to consider tho for sure.
@@trubttam yeah great point, the air shock might be just what I need to fix the weight distribution. It will be interesting to see if you get back on the S22 after getting used to the lynx. I hope you get used to riding in those boots, it’s worth sticking with it, I t took me a while but now I feel nude riding in anything other than my boots.
It’s been a while since I really rode sand and I’ve never really experimented with tires on it. But if you look at those 2 tires side by side when they are installed and inflated you’ll see the 244 looks more pointy than the 241, kind of like how street tires are, the 241 is a gentler curve it looks flatter and my guess is that would be better. Most vehicles would just air down for sand I think, and that would introduce a ton more variables, but if we want to save our rims we are pretty much forced to ride rock hard psi all the time offroad.
@@trubttam I ordered a 241 for my Lynx. One more question, you installed with tube or tubeless? I bought the hybrid tubeless and have been riding about 75% trail. I’ve only seen one Lynx shinko tire install video and it’s the shinko 244 and they installed it tubeless. 🤔
I installed with the tube. From my experience mountain biking the only reason to go tubeless was to run lower psi but off-road Euc need high psi anyway. Can always install slime in the innertube to have puncture insurance.
I really don’t have any more interest in “16in” wheels, I’ve tried t4 and extreme but they both felt bad to me. Big tire more better. If they could somehow make a ~85lb wheel with 22” tire I think it would be insane off road.
Idk my master doesn’t hold up for very long. The slider tubes need to be re thought out they get shitty pretty quick. When the rain clears and I can get to the jump park I’ll try jumping a Begode and see if they still do weird shit on steep jumps but that is what keeps me away from Begode the most, weird firmware things.

That was awesome! I think you sold me on the 66 Suspension. Way to go on those jumps!! The Lynx looks so good in taking care of any obstacle!
Another fun video ✊ Still contemplating new boots. Can you walk much with the D1's?

24:21 in Russian it’s the same funny)) you have “right here left” (right .. left) we have “прямо тут налево” (straight .. left)
Whaaat haha that’s funny! Maybe it’s like that in more languages! I only know English 🫤
More Lynx action!
Always appreciate the long ride vids! I've gotta get out to those trails!
awesome video, thank you.
Great work Matt, can't wait to see your jump park tune testing.
We are gonna need a lot of sun 🙏Hopefully it’s ok to ride the jump park by next weekend, that place gets flooded 😭
Damn, man. You got mad skills.
Awesome run

dude, don't be sorry for the dudes, dude. Hmmm makes me want to try a Lynx. Epic looking trails

At 14:06 you mentioned 241 for dirt 244 for half and half. If it was sandy trails instead of that dirt would you go 241 or 244?

hi guys where did you bought your 241 shinko plz ?

Murrieta California
Another great video. Love the content 👌

Have you tried the Inmotion Adventure on those trails or the jump park?
I saw Zen Lee compare the Lynx and the Adventure..

@@trubttam yes, I have been thinking the same thing! Mountainbikes uses bigger and bigger wheels for a reason.
I heared that tapping rattling noise. Is that the shock topping out or thst issues wrong way mentioned thst happens with the sherman s?
It’s the button of the trolly handle. I might just remove the trolly. It bugs me and I never use it
@@trubttam why not just tape it down
Wondering how much you weigh? I’m at 215 and trying to decide on the 66 or 70lb suspension. Loving those trails!
I weigh about 175 without gear, the 70 was definitely too stiff for me. At least swapping the springs wasn’t bad
Master V4 with Hou Nings 150mm suspension might be your Goldilocks wheel!
