Nothing wrong with sponsorships except in the AG1 case there is zero evidence to support health claims, the benefit is clearly in favor of the influencer in terms of money, and it is a hugely overpriced product for any customer not getting it for free.
Indeed it was a nice response. They make such a beautiful elegant catamaran. I hope they build Jason and Niki a complete new one, because how does the current cat come back from possible damage to chain plates, and other serious infrastructure of internals, this means waiting all over again, however it may end up a win win for both The Company ( who seem genuine) and especially the client knowing they have no serious issues with a second boat now the issue is known from the first build.

Seen HH’s response to your last video. Much respect to their “after the sale support”. Quality people and respected. Like they said, totally new endeavor will have the initial bugs to work out. That makes a lot of sense. Hopefully issues fixed and 2 yr warranty extended for 2 yrs, solar panels replaced on their dime. 👍👍👍
Hopefully, HH will do the right thing and refund the money. If they could have fixed it, they would have. I wonder if they can fix it properly. I don't think so. A refund will be the best result.

Yall have done it again. Made lemonade. What a funny, light lovely video, and beer. We lived in Belgium for only 4 months. Yet in the village, the local bar had 350 beers to choose from. That one you're having looks seriously delicious 😊
Lived in Belgium four years, it’s beautiful, historic, and the people are wonderful. Late summer through winter is damp and chilly. We lived in Mons, were stationed at SHAPE, and able to travel everywhere. Enjoy your time there, Bruges is fabulous! And most places are closed on Sundays.
Glad to see you on a boat where you aren't stressing over something going wrong everyday. Saw the HH explanation(?), apology(?), cop-out. I hope the company really does the right thing and build you a brand new boat, no charge.
I asked HH a question for that video. HH are going to get a marine surveyor that they and the Wynn's agree on and go from there. I just hope they select someone who has experience of electrolysis damage. If the hull is carbon fibre, that could be crucial.
@@davecook3138sorry to say it but Curiosity is never to be seaworthy again. Coastal waters maybe. Never blue water. I pray they get compensated for their wait time as well as a new boat.

About all the locks ... I've been a mechanic on these and done most of the data/fibers for these locks. As far as I'm aware off, they do operate as you guys said. You call in for the first lock, the rest of the locks go open automatically. Most of the locks aren't manned anymore, and are all done remotely (I believe the main office is at "Veurne", but I could be mistaken on that). You are required to call in once every few locks, usually on busy intersections or entering the country.
Hi There Wynns. It's me. A bit late in the week to watch my favorite sailing couple but here I am. Working on arranging and fixing life for me on my end for the better. What a way cool way to spend 7 days boating local waterways in a country you have never been too. Perfect! Jason is right! Just enough adventure to know everything will be all right but in the back of your mind the great potential for something to go wrong! I totally know what you mean. I saw the dark, cloudy skies and the rain that I enjoy. If you know boating which you definitely do, hang with boating. Perfect! Best. 🙂🙏👍
That's a great way to tour Belgium. Fond memories of visiting Bruges 50 years ago which was touted as the least damaged city during WWII hence, the pristine setting and beautiful medieval architecture. May need to revisit ...
How surreal this is! You’re passing my hometown while I ve been following you guys for years traveling over the world, crossing oceans and visiting white beaches… you inspired me to pick up sailing!
I didn't go there on a canal boat but have been in Bruges and Ghent. Enjoyed both. Bruges is more touristy but very much worth visiting. My favorite was Ghent because it is not for tourists even though it is visited often but it is also full of locals just living their lives. It was wonderful to see that and be in the middle of it. Locals doing their daily thing without seemingly even noticing you. It really gave you a sense of their lives and also the history of the medieval city. Recommend both, and yes, the beer!! So good and chocolate as well.
It is so good to see that you are able to still relax and have fun after how stressed you seemed with the problems you are having with Curiosity. Hopefully HH gets everything sorted out for you and you get to go back to sailing the world and showing us land lovers all of the fantastic stops, sights, and different cultures from around the world. Great to see you having fun! That feeling of 'you sure I can take this? don't you know I don't know what I'm doing?' is exactly how I felt when I left hospital with my first baby - lol! We got home, he sat is his baby car seat looking at me very seriously...like what now?! Being English, I made a cup of tea, and we took it from there. He's 24 now. Loving this video - never stop having fun!
Watched HH's video this last week which was in response to last weeks video. It really looks like they are really standing behid you both..Very glad to see. Great video today!
HH is doing the minimum. All these random comments ranting and raving about hh. It’s like everyone who works at hh set up a TH-cam account and started saying good things about hh
@@stankythecat6735 Honestly, I think it is just that Jason's and Nikki's positive outlook attracts the same in much of their audience. We all desperately *want* the saga to end well and celebrate any sign that suggests that it will, even if a bit premature.
@@stankythecat6735 Ever since their ordeal started, and particularly since their last video (before the HH one), I have been vocally expressing the opinion that they should be given a brand new boat, whatever the surveyor says. I am amazed at the amount of people who, since the builders have said that they will “fix” it, have been clapping like circus seals. Today, the boat has zero value and after it has been supposedly “fixed”, only what some brave, or ignorant buyer is prepared to offer. I wish them the best of luck.
We lived in Belgium for three years while I was stationed at The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), near Mons. My favorite Belgian beer is Chimay, one of many beers brewed by Trappist monks. There are three varieties of Chimay, but all three are delicious. Jason, I agree: Belgian beers are the best in the world.
Guy, you broke my heart a little when you poured your beer! To avoid creating a frothy head that you could shave with, tilt the glass and pour the nectar slooowly down the side of the glass, bringing the glass back to vertical as you go, just enough to avoid spilling any. It also helps to cool the glass first. That way you’re keeping the flavour and aroma where it belongs, in the beer. 😁🤘 Apart from all of that, it’s great to see you doing new things and discovering new places in your own unique style. Cheers! R. 😎👍🍻
That's how Belgium beers are served though... big heads. Sometimes it's around a quarter of the glass. Generally beers should be poured that way (with a big head) so that the gasses are mostly released in the glass and not in your tummy. This prevents the feeling of fullness or burping. A big head also protects the beer from air and oxidation so it last longer in the glass with more flavour. The way you are describing beer pouring is what everyone thinks is correct but isn't. This isn't bud light my guy this is proper beer.
@zAnti_ Bud Light is not beer. Period. Full Stop. I’m British, from the SW corner of the country, and only drink locally brewed cask real ales in my local pubs. I have done so for my entire adult life. I have served behind the bars in those pubs regularly. Introducing that much air in the pour is exactly what causes oxidation and loss of flavour in the glass, head or no head. A slow pour avoids that to the greatest possible extent, reducing oxidation and preserving the flavour. The only advantage of doing as you suggest is that it will reduce the amount of dissolved CO2 through encouraging it to gas off in the pour, which since most bottled beers are excessively gassy (to help extend their shelf life) can improve the drinking experience. On the other hand, slow pouring it and just letting it sit for five minutes will achieve the same result. I like beer, a lot. 😎👍🍻
Great to see you enjoying yourselves! I have cruised most of the east coast, up into Canada on my trailerable express cruisers, been on many cruises, and once did a self guided UK canal boat cruise vacation. Never been much into sailboats. Seems to require incredible resources, energy, and dedication. For me, now at 65, I think the more simple slow boat, near shore life works best. However, a very tight team of dedicated people with great energy, patience, and skill can have a very rewarding life experience! I find your channel very educational. Have fun!
Thank you again Jason and Nikki for another wonderful video taking me to places I have never been. Belgium was never on my bucket list, but guess what country I just added to it!!! I also saw HH's video this week and I'm glad they are committed to fixing your boat. I'm sure they know the world is watching on how warranty work is handled. But back to Belgium....let us know if their chocolate is also as good as it is hyped up to be.
Really happy to see HH stepping up to help you out and admit to the issues of your boat. I know the boat was expensive. The issues should be addressed and they were and I hope everything works out just fine for you guys from the United States.❤😊
So nice to see genuine smiles on your faces and laughter. HH made a video this week telling us what went wrong and how they’re fixing it. I basically told them, in my best mom voice, that they had better. 😂 Anyway, glad to see you making lemonade out of lemons. ❤❤
Oh my! Your enthusiasm is nothing short of contagious. Brings back happy memories from back in the 1990ies when we crewed on s/y Froissart going to Brussels from Rochester via Ramsgate-Ostende-Breskens-Antwerp.
Love to see you guys so happy and relaxed! Watched the H and H video and very pleased and convinced they are standing up for their product. They certainly think kindly of you two and we all know why. You both are lovely, gracious, and ethical people. And also, many of us would beat some HH butt if you were mistreated! LOL

I just love this so much. The canals are our FAV, we're hoping we can explore them again one day. Also, I don't feel like this is said enough, but your editing is *chefs kiss* - N&T xx
Just a quick tip: the reason why lock and bridge staff are not answering is because first of all they don't know which bridge/lock you are calling. All of the locks and bridges in one region are operated from a single command centre and they have one VHF channel. The right way to call them is to say and then your own name. So that would be "Sint Idebald brug this is Horizon 30" or so. Secondly your hand-held VHF has no ATIS programmed into it so the command centre know that your VHF is actually used illegally on our inland waterways (you may have a radio license but your VHF station is not licensed for use on a Belgian vessel). I'm sure they won't give you a fine, but they do tend to ignore illegal radio transmissions.
Great video. I’m glad you’re both having a good time. She looks like a fun boat to scoot around on. Hopefully you’ll get back home on Curiosity soon. HH’s response video seems very promising. I, like you and so many others, are looking forward to seeing you back in the ocean.
I didn’t know canal boating was something anyone could do until I saw your video on the narrowboat. Such a unique way to experience another country and it looks fun and maybe a bit challenging just from inexperience of proper procedures but definitely manageable. I so enjoy these videos and always wish they were longer. Looking forward to next week’s episode. Until then, safe travels Wynn’s

Thank you for sharing your vacation with us. It is so nice to see you two laughing and enjoying yourselves. I started watching your videos years ago when you lived in the RV and your stories and joyful spirits encouraged me to start the RV life. Looking forward to watching more happy Wynn days in the future. I'll be back for the beer episode. Bet it will be as good as the coffee episode!
Some of my best memories of Belgium are getting to know the home brew community. They do some amazing beers on private residences and little private farms. The social aspect of life that Nikki was mentioning is a great opportunity to share in that experience.
David "CC" is the reason I started watching your channel. He recommended it one Christmas a few years ago or so. It is great you have mentioned his channel a few times already I believe. Glad you guys are checking off a bucket list item while your life is disrupted, rather than being miserable with the problems. Enjoy!
After all the dramas with your new boat/home it's great that HH did a supporting video but the best thing about this video is to see you both looking so relaxed, happy and joking about. Bruges is beautiful and so is Ghent. Enjoy!
I watched the HH response video to the series of defects in your catamaran. They responded to my comment that the boat should be replaced with a brand new boat at their expense plus compensation. They said an independent surveyor with make recommendations to which they will abide. Hoping for a new boat in your future.
Now I want to go to Belgium even more than I did before! I’m an art historian, so I’m thinking of both art works and the country that inspired them. Seeing the canals and castles in your video gets me even more interested. Thank you!
It's very cute seeing somebody not from the Netherlands looking at a normal Dutch/German day and say "not every day will be like this". Yes, it will :D
I ended up following your channel because you were mentioned by David. I'm happy to see you still remember to mention your English narrowboat experience.
OMG 😱 , WOW ‼ . What a fun video episode, guys. You have stimulated my bride and me to look into this kind of adventure for ourselves. I can't wait to see all the castles, as I am also an enthusiast for that time period. 😊
I think the guy on the bike beat you to the overnight spot. :) That last bridge with the swinging counterweights was pretty neat. The scenery makes me want to visit Europe again. I saw that HH put a video out with what they're going to do to fix your boat. I haven't watched it yet but it's cool they are doing that at least from a PR standpoint.
Love to see you all are getting out there and making the best of the situation you are in. Belgium was a great choice. Canal boat content is always fun to watch.
I’m glad that you ended up on your feet. After watching the episode last week I was concerned, but you show great resilience. Enjoy Europe. The weather may not be perfect, but you will have the pic.
This canal trip sounds super fascinating, tks for sharing! For someone with ZERO boating experience, will I be able to manage this canal trip with my family?
UK has similar boats. It’s really easy. They take you out and show you what to do… that is the time to make sure you are happy. Boats are easy enough… especially ones with a motor and in an area where you can’t really come to harm. Go for it!
Yes, it really is easy. If you can drive a car, you can drive these boats. Le Boat does a thorough explanation and will be with you while driving for the first little bit to help you get comfortable. We met several first time renters while we were there and they were doing great.
Horse person here - as for the people with the cart and horses, they likely compete in ‘driving’. People don’t realize that there are more disciplines in horse sports than there are in ball sports. You can compete in timed events with an obstacle course and in others where the horses are judged on being perfectly paired with movement closely matching each other (think synchronized swimming or diving). There is two in hand, four in hand, singles and so on. There is a pony division and horse divisions. The list goes on. So there you have it. The guy wasn’t out for work … he was out working / training his horses. Belgium is a massive hub for the horse business because it sits between France, Germany and England. A lot of top riders have their businesses there because they can easily get to competitions in the major countries very easily. So there you have it!
We're back on the canals again! We had sooo much fun a couple of years ago on our narrowboat trip in the UK, we had to give Canal Boat Life a try here in Belgium. Spoiler alert, it's awesome.
@@stankythecat6735 Agree
@@moltderenou I just tracked down three people who commented and also work at HH. What HH is doing is gross and very deceptive
I loved Belgium, and I am looking forward to seeing Brugge again through your eyes. Thank you for taking us along!
Apart from all of that, it’s great to see you doing new things and discovering new places in your own unique style.
Cheers! R.
@zAnti_
Bud Light is not beer. Period.
Oh my beautiful home I miss you!!! Thanks for sharing Belgium 🇧🇪 in such a fun and way!!
So glad I found your channel!
The places you take me!
Have a great time! Canals are so cool, romantic and beautiful. You deserve the break. Thank you for sharing this ❤
I've got 7 months of canal cruising under my belt in the UK and France, and I agree 100%; best way to travel. Love watching you guys.
You guys seem so at home in Belgium. Love the channel thanks for all the great content!
Love to see you guys so happy and relaxed! Watched the H and H video and very pleased and convinced they are standing up for their product. They certainly think kindly of you two and we all know why. You both are lovely, gracious, and ethical people. And also, many of us would beat some HH butt if you were mistreated! LOL
27 mins in. One of the coolest drawbridge I’ve ever seen. (Short of the boat elevators…) Jason and Nicky, no experience needed. Boatzillas delxuxe trans pac etc… great vid. Glad HH is on the case to fix the cat. Stay safe and fair winds you two…..
I enjoyed very much seeing both of my friends from Texas every weekend and this was a very special one. Thank you. God bless you and America too.
I just love this so much. The canals are our FAV, we're hoping we can explore them again one day. Also, I don't feel like this is said enough, but your editing is *chefs kiss* - N&T xx
I think we need to rent a bigger boat and do a trip together!
@@gonewiththewynns YESSS!!! No really, yes, we need to do that.
Belgium looks awesome on the very wide canal.
I’ve been a fan David and Cursing the Cut for years and especially enjoyed when Peter and John ( RVgeeks) visited.
There's also the Norfolk broads and the whole of the French canal system ..
The trip to the South of France formed the basis for the Travel book ..A long dog to Carcassonne....a few years back.
@ thank you. Very interesting
I really like the landscape of Belgium and the Netherslands ! A great video ! You should retravel it in spring time.
Collectively known as the Low countries..
Great adventure, thanks. The two of you and the Nautistyles couple (Victoria and Rico) are the ultimate in nautical adventure on TH-cam. The four of you have mastered entertainment, excitement, and perfect verbal delivery. Plus, both lead star young women are unique as well as beautiful. How could any subscriber go wrong with the men who demonstrate their boating skills and vast boating knowledge. We viewers are so lucky!
Belgium for Christmas! You guys could be the leads in a Hallmark Christmas 🎄 movie!! 😅
That’s a great idea! Maybe we’ll have to pitch it! 😜
This is why you guys are good! While going through rough issues you make the best of it and keep going. Thanks for the content and keep doing what you do!!!!
Given everything going on in your "other" life right now it's good that you guys are having fun in Belgium. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Saw the HH video ,cool, shows how important it is for customer relations and standing behind their product, esp in a new innovative product
Plus shows the power of the Gone With the Wynns brand😉🎉🎉
This looks so fun and beautiful! Enjoy!
Such a wonderfully fun episode!! I love your adventures!!
Some of my best memories of Belgium are getting to know the home brew community. They do some amazing beers on private residences and little private farms. The social aspect of life that Nikki was mentioning is a great opportunity to share in that experience.
I feel sad, for your situation, yet, you take us places, most will never see. Looking forward to this adventure!❤
David "CC" is the reason I started watching your channel. He recommended it one Christmas a few years ago or so. It is great you have mentioned his channel a few times already I believe. Glad you guys are checking off a bucket list item while your life is disrupted, rather than being miserable with the problems. Enjoy!
This is the first video in a very long time where I could get through more than 50% without it feeling anxious or negative.
Love the coif ; Nikki just gets prettier as she get older! Hang in there on the boat troubles. You found a nice way to relax!
it's pretty cool with me and a thousand friends world wide watching the same Sunday morning show!
Thank you!
I definitely am excited about Nerdy-Beer Vlog!
It's very cute seeing somebody not from the Netherlands looking at a normal Dutch/German day and say "not every day will be like this". Yes, it will :D
they are the most relaxing time ever, just a slower pace of life
I ended up following your channel because you were mentioned by David.
Welp, we finally did a cruise ship trip and it wasn't horrible so now maybe we'll try a canal boat trip. Thanks for the suggestion!
These two can fly a plane or a rocket if you give them. Love you guys... following for last 4 years
Love to see you all are getting out there and making the best of the situation you are in. Belgium was a great choice. Canal boat content is always fun to watch.
Enjoy your videos very much! Have you all viewed the Chasing Latitudes video on your boat issues?
Welcome in Belgium, it is beautifull on the water. I live fulltime on my boat about 4hr from bruges. Happy yall like it
Amazing video! I hope you’ll fully enjoy my beautiful country, Belgium. There’s so much to explore here! Have a great time and safe travels! 😊
@@gonewiththewynns I think boats are easier than cars. Although I know what you mean.
@@gonewiththewynnsdoes Le Boat also provide all the info on how to communicate with the bridge and locks operators? Thanks again ❤
You're both a breath of fresh air! Thanks!
Warranty repairs are a BOON for CONTENT!
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
You guys are so good at this. I hate why you have to be here, but I’m really enjoying the content. Great job!!
