Pink Floyd Name..(Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.) Two early Blues Artists combined . A name from Syd Barrett an original founder of PF.

You seem a bit misinformed of the technology of this era. The screen behind them is fully capable of projecting bright brilliant images and animation, and does on other songs. They were known for the multimedia presentations that go along with their music. (One of The originators of the concept going all the way back to the 60s).
"High Hopes" for instance from this same concert. You might want to consider doing that one next. Also giant LED screens were in full use during this time that projected images of other popular artists of the day... Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, to name a couple It's just that Floyd never chose to go that route, preferring instead to let their music do the talking rather than project their own images. Pink Floyd enjoyed their anonymity even while at the height of their popularity. However, they did do a lot of stuff with animation that would be projected behind them on some of their songs with longer instrumentals or introductions. Check out the animation for "Time" from this concert. There is no way you can look at the clip you just saw and not appreciate how far ahead of its time the lighting was.
Pink Floyd as a band is not a thing anymore. This tour from 1994 was there last. However lead vocalist and lead guitarist David Gilmour has toured with solo projects since then, that incorporates plenty of Pink Floyd material. Now at 78 David Gilmour
just dropped a new solo album a few weeks ago, and is scheduled to make a few U.S. appearances next month in LA and New York. He still closes with "Comfortably Numb" and is considered a living legend.
The band's other co-lead vocalist and primary lyricist Roger Waters also still tours, and is very politically active.
P S. I saw this concert live at Soldier Field in Chicago 1994. I know from which I speak. There was also a 360-degree surround sound system that encircled the entire stadium and put you in the middle of the sound no matter where you were sitting. Haven't heard anything quite like it before or since.

The keyboard player, Rick Wright, passed away in 2008. The band's final concert was Live 8 in 2005.

Simpler lighting system but no automation. All hand triggered. This show is still the holy Grail for modern day lighting technicians. They didn't just pre program. Every show was unique. The band didn't want to be the main attraction. They wanted the vibe to be

    These were not simple lights.
Yes no leds but Pulse is still considered to be one of the best live shows to date......

The lighting rivals anything from today, IDK what the hell he's talking about.

Plus, as a footnote- they had 3 of the arc lighting sets and leap frogged cities to set them up in time for the next concert

Some of us Pink Floydians can be somewhat overzealous and for some reason do not understand that someone who is listening to their first Pink Floyd song don't already know the "Pnk Floyd Rules"(I.E. not pausing during a solo and that the songs are best understood when listened straight through, or that most of their albums are really a single piece of music divided into several songs) and instead of givng positive feedback and breaking down the best way to enjoy Pink Floyd and instead jump on a soapbox and complain....I am glad you gave it a second try....If I could give a suggestion I would suggest the song "Shine on You crazy Diamond" from the same P.U.L.S.E. concert....Wherever life finds you I hope it finds you and those that you love safe and well....AHIMSA!!!!

Echoes live at Pompeii. Pink Floyd fan since 68.
Scene five of their concerts. Last one was Momentary Lapse of Reason Encore concert.
    Went to the first concert.
After the concert ended they announced they would do a Encore the following night.
It immediately sold out. And yes I had my second ticket.
Pink Floyd always had the best laser shows literally even in the early seventies. And this isn't much better.
Prominent at all concerts was the large Leslie speakers.
The Wall concerts were the largest Travelin Concert Production ever. Both the wall and momentary lapse of Reason concerts had Orchestra mixed choir and boys choir.
All were very large and with their own directors
    🚜🤠🐂

The songs Sorrow and High Hopes on the Pulse Concert are 🔥🔥. Also check out Nita Strauss’s songs Dead Inside and The Wolf You Feed 👍! Yes , the 70’s and 80’s were for the most part a great time to grow up as a kid .

This was the 3rd and final encore......hence the credits rolling onto the screen that continues on after you closed the link.
The preceding song was Confortably Numb, which is now considered by many to be the ultimate live song with the best ever live guitar solo.
For me, i prefer the opening number from over 2 hours earlier , Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and a few others. lol

Mate, stop talking over the song! Particularly when you are just waffling nonsense. Watch and listen, without inserting yourself into the song or destroying its impact by constant interruptions.

Since your new to PF every song you experience will be a new kind of better than everything else you've heard until you're so deep in that every song is a masterpiece in and of itself you can't decide which is your favorite.
