What's the point of having a maxed out skill if some other ability utterly nullifies it? Or is this one of those "balanced" -games- worlds where all the skills, even when they're maxed out, only tweak the odds of using the skill successfully by some percentage?

Like there was no reason to suspect the king but the author decided to just suddenly make him a genius and stronger than everyone else type of hero but isn't actually a hero. The art in this manga is amazing however there are many things that don't make sense story wise

I my self am writing a story about a fantasy version of me. Long story short, a calamity type of event has started taking place for our MC and now he finds him self on a new path of life covered with secrets and new friends or old friends who have taken the path with him. I choose it to be simple and to the point. The MC is no wuss or a THICC headed, black hole, neutron star mofo and he is indeed OP. He is a guy in shape and fairly built already. Once he want to do something he doesn't need to take 10 hours of thinking and staling to do it. HE JUST DOES IT. He is a simple man with no great needs to be quenched. One step at a time, one swing after another, one kill, one goal. Why have too many ambitions when you don't want to multitask your butt of. Having an MC with a good paced mind does wonders for a story. Right now the story is early development. I wish I could start writing it on a program or something so I can save it for who knows what. Might one day try to make it into and original piece of work for a comic. It all in english as it is easiest to write it....ah I rambled to much :P sry
There is an isekai like book series called celestine chronicles. MC has goals, not too thick headed gets stuff done. It is a haremlit, so not for everyone.
