So basically I’m Arabic Muslim and I can speak Arabic fluenty because I was in a international school and when u were confused about the word “Souq” basically means Market, Drive, and Shopping it depends in which sentence u use it in and in Arabic if u use it wrong the wrong way of saying the sentence can change the whole thing for example: “أنا با صوق" which means "I will drive", market and shopping are basically used the same in the same sentence. I studied Arabic for 6 years and the most difficult part of learning Arabic for me was the part that we had to read by force and we had no interest in it, otherwise it is not a difficult language.

I am in an arabe country and trust me in morocco it works differant because in kindergarden they make us learn french and arabic and we learned what you just sad by 2nd grade and we start english by 1rt grade so by now i can speak : arabic,moroccan,algérian,egyptian,imaratian,french,spanich,korean,american,chinese,japanese and british😊❤

And shopping is تسوق
Yeah and the second Pronounation is tasouq
As a person who has been an arabic speaker their whole life i feel u sometimes cuz i may forget a word or two sometimes😂😭
For me its like that Arabic has multiple words of the same meaning till the point I don't know which one to choose😂
