Thank for this video. Like you, I am inspired by Klimt. I was made aware of his work in art school in about 1975. Not in an art history class, but in a painting class. I had a few unexplainable connections to Vienna from my childhood. Postcards of Vienna's white horses sent to me by a family friend. The music of Strauss and later Mozart and Beethoven. A funny song about Alma Mahler by Tom Lehrer. I had a noble knight print hanging on my bedroom wall. The first books in my personal Klimt and Vienna Secession library were the ones by Alessandra Comini. The public library and the university one, never had enough books on Klimt and his artist friends for me. So now I have a huge Klimt library. I visited Vienna in 1985, after much study of the frieze, to see it unveiled after decades of restoration. It was not in the Secession yet. I walked through its exhibition listening to Beethoven's 9th on my Walkman. You have brought back so many memories, thoughts about Klimt, and new ideas to me. I thank you and I highly recommend this video. So very well done! ~Paul M Robinson.
