I have 30 yrs. experience in the cleaning industry. I am an upholstery specialist. I have trained many crews for leaders in the industry - Sears, Eatons, The Bay. I can tell you for a fact, you don't take a scrub brush to a synthetic crushed velour. If you find one of these guys showing you the napkin trick in your living room, you will be experiencing the "Cincinnati Shuffle".
i loved this video. not too much talking at all. really thorough explanations. I hope you get lots of work because you seem extremely competent, thorough and professional. thank you.
The dust trick is nice to know. You brake the system down nice. At dry Extraction we dont use shampoo. but every other cleaner cleans just like these. Good job Alpine cleaners

Great job! Very informative and eye opening especially your method of inspecting the amount of dry particulate soil. Your written description should contain a link to your website for SEO purposes though. As a fellow carpet cleaning business owner of 23 years in the Hazleton, PA area, how much is your charge for this size piece of furniture? We are an IICRC certified firm and our present charge in a local market is approximately $42.50 including an application of fabric protector.
There is a machine which save you quite some time to do this job. especially if you have many units of furniture to clean like buses or movie theaters..
I've started and run a successful Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Business and Janitorial Service for 23 years. I have a better than 90% repeat and referral customer base, hold the manufacturer recommended Clean Trust certification, I'm a Journeyman Textile cleaner updating my education every 4years. A shady businessman doesn't achieve these things. I'm not sure what credentials you hold, please share with us. And call me when you need your carpet professionally cleaned.
Upon entering a home where there are pets, children and health sensitive consumers, what sounds more friendly "I'm going to spray chemicals on your belongings" or "I use a gentle cleaning solution that is non toxic and biodegradeable"? It's carpet cleaning 101.
It's not shady. If I spin your statement around it reads "A chemical possessing certain physical & molecular properties that will act on other molecules it comes in contact with, is still MY SOLUTION! As a professional carpet cleaner I understand that the way I handle, apply and dispose of my SOLUTION, wheather green or not, it's still a solution. Shady would imply that I don't make my customers aware of any adverse or potential health hazards from inhaling or contacting the SOLUTIONS I use.
Thanks Robert Martin, but I don't require carpet & upholstery cleaning. In case you have any drug & clinical questions ... feel free to contact me. I give free consultations just for you. I've been in this business for 33 years and to answer your question - I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and own a few retail drug stores. I update my education every year.
Good for you. However I must point out that just as you try to compare my use of "solutions" and "chemicals" you too sell "Chemicals" but advertise them as "medicine and drugs". Touché . You stick to selling medicine and I'll stick to using solutions when I clean carpets. And when I made the first comment about the use of the word "solutions", I wasn't trying to be a snotty Wise Ass, I was trying to pass on the benefit of my knowledge!
maybe next time you can try using the word CHEMICAL CARPET CLEANER ... coz they really mean the same thing as your SOLUTION CARPET CLEANER. Then, you probably just explain why your chemical is better and greener than the rest. That is all my point. The terminology chemical and solution is one and the same - just depends on the composition of a particular brand if it is greener than the other brand.
depending on its composition whether it S organically friendly for humans/pets or not. Nevertherless, UR SOLUTION is still a chemical possessing certain physical & molecular properties & will interact on any other molecules it comes in contact with. I am not disputing whether your solution S safe for people or not. But I think your intention of using D term SOLUTION as a safer commodity compared to a CHEMICAL is a bit shady & wrong. Why not just tell UR clients what's in it & why it S safe?

what is the preconditioning and shampoo solution?
wow, i am going to try the paper towel bit on vacuuming.
It's an old trick they use to sell vacuums. They put dirt on the paper towel when you're not looking.

Cheap sales gimmicks are pretty old school, bro...Much better off concentrating on better protective gear for that hardwood. It's far too exposed
1.) to use a friendlier word SOLUTION so as not to scare your customers ...... I absolutely agree!. 2) Solution is not a chemical .... WRONG!
They are not chemicals they are solutions! Get in the habbit of using the friendly terminology, customers don't want to hear the word "Chemical".
not trying to be rude, but there really is tooo much talking
