I believe they are illegal arrests and so do the judges if the student protester cases are being dismissed. However, it is social and political harassment by the government, Universities and Police departments because they know they are illegal but are still throwing around their power to intimidate, physically and psychologically harm students. This is where class action lawsuits are necessary.

Some White Christian American’s are making the mistake in my opinion of failing themselves, refusing to look beyond their skin-tone ego mirrors of privileges that they fear they are losing. They are too afraid to adapt, learn new skills, modify their viewpoints, learn to listen to others, manage their emotions without compulsive, addictive crutches to soothe their beastly, blood thirsty, self-destructive tendencies.
It’s so much easier to love, listen, care, learn, but most people aren’t entertained unless they are living in chaos are causing trouble for someone else. This is the comfort most people have with living with dysfunctional behaviors. They are uncomfortable with decent, reasonable, healthy, kind people.

Here in Latin America we have the blessing of having self-autonomy and governing powers in all our public universities. No police officer is allowed to enter without a explicit and written permit, people can defend themselves if a situation happens in terms of preserving one’s life under university roof.

The Marsh v Alabama ruling pertains to 'distribution of religious materials on a towns sidewalk even though the sidewalk was part of a privately-owned company' the point of contention was the fact that this was taking place in a 'company-town' (ie. a town in which a single company effectively owns all stores, housing .etc') which created a basis for accusations of free speech violations

I worked in the Middle East as an American teacher and had many very serious experiences but I still refuse to be a hateful Islamophobia bigot. I can keep thinking critically and want both Israeli and Palestinian countries to flourish freely. The USA needs to back-off from their military Middle East aspirations and NSA investments with Israel and Israel needs to let go of believing they have the right to legally control another country. Those days are gone and it was a mistake for Israel to ever have been given any legal authority over Palestinians.
