In this Wrexham Walk video, we take you on a virtual walk on a sunny Saturday afternoon in September 2022 and see all of the sights you may know and many of the ones you won't.
With the current hype of the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenny FOX TV documentary, Welcome To Wrexham, currently being shown by Disney + in the UK, we decided to take you on a virtual walk of Wrexham to give you a better insight on what the once town and now city is all about.
Wrexham is an old market town in North Wales, and in the 18th and 19th century, was at the forefront of the coal and lead mining, the production of iron, steel and leather and brewing industries.
Today it is full of charm and history, but could seriously do with some more investment.

Welcome to the official Postcard & A Pint TH-cam channel.
Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. It's just a bit of fun, and great for our sanity. Your support is hugely appreciated x

A most beautiful walk through the outdoor mall, park, and the architecture at times reminded me of Disneyland. I have not yet visited Wales but it is on my list of places to see. Have a wonderful weekend!

I went to Wrexham once in the 90s, in winter, to watch my team Gillingham go there and draw 0-0. It was cold and miserable. This video paints it in a much better light! I saw a huge billboard advertising the new Wrexham FC series the other day in Downtown Los Angeles so it's definitely a town in the public conscience currently.
Wills saw a sunny day and went off for a walk! We’re watching the documentary now, it’s really good! Rob and Ryan seem to actually care about both the club and the town. Cheers 🍻

Lovely mix of background music and ambient sounds, really nice touch! Looks like quote a nice high street, nice to see a lot of shops still open! Few boarded up, but thats the same everywhere now! Nice old fashioned buildings on Temple Row, looked like a really pleasant stretch, loved the ornate railings outside the Church! Lot of money in that football ground! 👍

Beautiful town. In the US a town this size is all hobos, trash heaps, parking lots, restaurants, and bars. We've gotten rid of most stores and interesting things to do.

Every time I watch one of these I am confused by the UK. It looks a bit like Europe but all the signs are in English (or Walesish) and you drive on the right (correct) side of the road. How can this be? 😁 I was also expecting to see Ryan Reynolds. Much disappoint. I mean it was nice to see his office and all but please have RR next time. 😁
Sorry to disappoint on th Rob/Ryan front. Me and Wills did get filmed for the documentary when we were helping collect for Wills mums charity on one of the last games of the season! We’ve not got to that episode yet, it will be hilarious if we’ve made it on (probably on the cutting room floor in Hollywood!! Lol just come across this , Wrexham is done , the council have no clue makes us think if there even from Wrexham , the walk would of been better in the 90s or or before unfortunately, only thing we enjoy right now is the football club is on the rise
Yep I see on my Facebook all the time about how the council are about as anti wrexham as you can get. We live in Flintshire and it’s pretty much the same!! We love the football club too. Wills is from wrexham (well tan y fron) and has all his memories from wrexham in the 80’s. We do have a Vlog called welcome to wrexham (before the tv show came out!!) and he talks a bit about it there. Cheers for watching 🍻
