- WREXHAM - PROMOTED AGAIN 🏆…Most of you have seen the Welcome to Wrexham documentary series BUT how many of you have seen a Wrexham Stadium Tour? 🤔 I thought I’d share my behind the scenes look at the world famous Welsh football club owned by Ryan Reynolds & Rob Mcelhenney 🏴 We take a 360 stadium tour of the exterior of the Racecourse Ground, check out the Wrexham club shop and then jump on the Stok Cae Ras STADIUM TOUR 🏟️

The best is that they got promoted to League One. Back to back promotions. It all starts from the top. Good owners that have good people running the club, which then gets a good manager, who gets good players
That special quiet section of seating is a really thoughtful touch
There is also a chill-out/quiet room behind that area of the stand, in case anyone with anxiety or autism needs some time out from match noise (although ear defenders can also be issued). There are other areas of the stadium for wheelchair users, including 6 in the away end.

I just wanna say that I think you're the only person that I've seen with more than 10k subscribers that really puts effort to interact with and heart as many comments as possible. It's just rare to see that in TH-camrs nowadays.

Great! Good video. Hope you enjoy Series 2 of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’. My daughters and I were in the stadium for the 9511 attendance for the ladies and I’m also in Series 2 Episode 15 in The Turf! It was brilliant!

Current ground record attendance is 12,532, when Notts County visited. We might nudge past that in the season finale against Stockport, but required crowd segregation might mitigate against that happening.
I emigrated to Australia many years ago and always wanted to know what the Wrexham Tour was like.... Thank you for taking the time and providing an insight to this wonderful club.

Cae Ras is pronounced "Kye Rass"... Most people from Wrexham just call it the Racecourse though.

The cae does, as stated rhyme with the English "eye" but the rendition of Ras as rass is wrong, makes it look as if it rhymes with the english word wrass (type of fish) - it's a long a, you might write it raass! (long a and an "s", a voiceless alveolar sibilant if it helps!!)

Well done Ry from another Williams. Drove up from Cardiff to see Wrexham play at Edgar Street once. Two clubs with a proud FA cup pedigree. Wrexham, my boyhood club. I'm so old I remember paying to get into the Kop and paying extra to go and sit in a stand above the standing Kop called the Pigeon loft which legend has it were old cinema seats. Never felt that safe standing up and celebrating a goal to be honest. You did that tour respectfully and best wishes for the growth of your channel.

Great tour! I’m a fan of the TV series, so I loved seeing everything close up. When you get a chance, do watch series 2 - it was very enjoyable. Series 3 will be starting in a few weeks here in the US.
I think my favorite part of your videos is when you show what you bought in the shops 😂. The Turf slate was very cool. Personally, I would love one of their bucket hats. Cheers!

Great video, i have a softspot for Wrexham after watching the welcome to Wrexham documentarys. Went to the racecourse back in 2004 to watch Liverpool in a preseason friendly, a mighty Anthony le tallac double lol, missed the last train to bk to Liverpool after the game to 🤦♂️

Went to Germany just before COVID hit based in Cologne. Dortmund game Friday night, monchengladbach game Saturday and Leverkusen game Sunday before flying home
Hi Ry, what equipment and software do you use? I would like to upgrade from using my iPhone to record and create videos on, but not sure what to get or how much it would cost me.
I use the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 kit with mic etc. Edit on Adobe premiere pro & thumbails on an old photoshop 😁👍🏾🍻

When you were standing behind the old Kop next to the railway, you were standing on Wat's Dyke (Circa 800AD) the historical ditch and mound that kept the Welsh tribes away from the invading Anglo Saxon settlers.

I was on the same tour as you here! I agree with you, it was a very enjoyable tour. PS it is pronounced “Stoke Kai Raahs”. I was the fat tall one with the grey beard and Wrexham cap.

Next trip to the states Check out Cincinnati, FC our closest MLS team and Louisville City a USL league team, both an hour and 20 minutes away from each other,, probably the best lower league stadium in the country and both have great support

Just remember the stadium, because with the new owners, they are on the way to PL. I think in the next 10 years, they will have a new stadium.
Yeah they’ll 100% get to the Prem in the next decade… I don’t know whether they’ll leave because Wrexham’s charm is their down to earth “normal” appeal

Can’t recall seeing one at the ground but it’s probably where they train they’ll have one
They do have a gym, but it was out of bounds for the tour and the same for the physio room (I was on the same tour as Mr Williams!)
Million times better with your mic clipped to you and not walking around trying to hold such a tiny piece of equipment

Just a random thought do you reckon some teams have handicaps because of location. As in it’s harder to get players as how many would want to live in or near Wrexham
I think that’s definitely the case but it depends on the person - I see you’re a Gooner - now no disrespect to the club or anyone who lives in London but it would be my worst nightmare living in a big city like London so Wrexham would be ideal 😅 city people would be the opposite though 🤣
@@RysFootyParadise yeah I get that. Think for foreign players being in London or a big city means there close to an airport so can easily go home. Not sure if that’s a factor. Could be loads of factors.

Wrexham ownership has no where near the money as Cities ownership.
