We, in Canada, and, other parts of the so called " civilized " world can only imagine the trials and tribulations of your lives.
As a mechanic and welder, I just wish there was some way I could travel and help out in so many places.
I see so much suffering, just to get water, as an example.
We go to a tap, turn it on, then complain about the smell, or taste, so we drive to town, flip a card out and buy a filter to make our water taste better.
Forgetting about even where the tap water comes from.
So many things we take for granted in the "developed" world.

I too am a Mechanic/technician and welder in Michigan. I can only imagine the hardships these people endure on a daily basis. We do take so much for granted.
I appreciate your comment. Here The job they are doing is setting up borewell for the first time to water their fields. I guess this is in northern india and there its no different than the so called civilized world. They are still using the diesel engines is because it is the most reliable source to water their fields than electricity driven pumps.
its 2022, everyone has the chance to move wherever they want. if you see a person in a poor country, chances are high that this person actually wants to live in that poor country. I do a lot of philanthropic work and it is really mind bending to see so many people actually actively deciding to be poor. for example if you give such people a washing machine or dishwasher or even just a simple house to live in most of them will decline and tell you: "i don't need this, i have always washed my clothes in the river and i will continue to do so forever!" its like.. wow okay have fun in the river while i lean back and watch interesting youtube videos while my washign machine is doing the job for me. to each their own i guess

ガスボンベを用意して、吸気口にホースをさして始動させると良いのでは？

Ive seen this video 3-4 times but everytime it comes back into my recommended I have to play it. Watching these guys work together seamlessly and the fellow throwing the drive belt onto the pulley is really wild.
Health and safety is an unknown concept, as are zero emissions. They were better off using animals or slave labour to turn Archimedes screw pumps. As they did before the EIC and British Raj brought civilisation and industrialisation.

I would love to be able to help these guys upgrade they're equipment.
Find a pitcher pump and a check valve to prime the well. Close off the pump outlet and pump the hand pump till it primes and fills the pump. Start the pump.
Me too, it's my brothers need help.
they already have the check valve in upstream, they just need to develop the system, install check valve deeper, elevate dishcharge right after pump nozzle, and prime the pump from tapping where they check the elevation, it will perform much better.

High estimation for their hard work. The water level must be deep or the gaskets sucking to much air, otherwise the pump should have primed quicker. Done everything right, also carring for the engines cooling while the pump cant deliver cooling water.
