I would agree that the show isnt great, and the presenters are a little weak. The exception is Dax, that dude is a major gear head. He made an entire movie as a love letter to his car (hit and run. He owns the majority the cars in that movie and the Lincoln was the star of the show). Rob Cordry is an awesome actor...and he invented Louggle!! But not great in this show.
Bovingdon is one of the best car journalists and non race car drivers in the world. He worked for Evo in England and have tested every super cars out there. He gets invited first by Ferrari, Merc, Porsche etc. Learn.
Dax must be on some good pain killers. I've had my ribs broken on one side and it hurt to even breath. He wasn't showing any sign of pain at all as he was thrusting his body back and forth before he got in the car to sling it back and forth.
Motor trend should just hire the biggest you tubers ... they’ve done the work for you, the have built an audience already... they probably can’t afford them tho
Man it is sad that cars many of us can't afford get absolutely demolished like that and also so very cool for them that they get to live that life. Lol

For Top Gear America to be successful they need to stop getting the hosts from central casting. They also need to get people who actually know something about cars. The biggest problem with the GTR is the "suspension setup" and it has a "race car" setup for a "rough rally stage". No it has a road racing setup. Rally cars have a race car setup too.
People complaining about the cars being damaged... rally racing isn't all nice and neat 🙄 it would be astonishing if a rally car finished without a scratch on the paint job
Clarkson, Hammond and May have cornered the market when it comes to car shows. They have chemistry, they are friends in real life. And they knew when to call it quits. They were such innovators when it comes to crazy ideas that everyone that follows seems that they are copying them. Sorry to say this but even Tavarish, Bolian and Hoovie inspired their show after the 3 Brits. Not their individual shows but when they get together and have different tasks to achieve from their sponsors ( usually Copart). Top Gear America was never good, even when it launched for the first time.... just getting a few crew members with a British accent doesn’t mean it will be good .....I would never do that to a Nissan skyline Ok, done with my rant . Be safe folks

Last I heard, he refuses pain killers and the like because he doesn’t want to relapse. I think he’s just a tough guy.
