Always enjoy vids with the tour truck in them. I was lucky enough to see it in person a couple years ago, when I just happened to be in the area and went by TM HQ. Even got to briefly speak with both Wade and Trotti while there. Wished they and I had more time that day. The encyclopedia of golf knowledge they both have is vast and impressive, I probably could’ve spent a full day just chatting on club specs and such and still probably not covered 1/10th of what those guys know.
Wade couldn’t be a nicer dude, had a chance to meet him on a GolfWRX trip to Dallas during the SLDR release. Still have a headcover he signed on my shelf.
Thanks so much for the explanation. However, I d like to see how the truck is before assembly and how to assembly it. It is my dream to meet this truck.!
Trottie.. explain the CT in the heads for yardage dial in.. I havent heard you talk about that before.. What would one head vs the other all equal except for CT have to do with dialing in a few extra yards?
Characteristic Time. Just how long the ball stays on the blade / how much spring in the face. Obv on the Tour truck the heads are usually a bit slower than production (contrary to belief) and then they have a longer life span as they get hit hard consistently in the middle. So by checking the CT you can calculate the time each club will be in play on tour for before you have to worry about creeping and failing a random USGA speed test. When fitting, if trying to hit a certain yardage or dealing with a super quick player you can cherry pick the slower CT / in essence the thicker face. All part of the process but you're right we don't talk about it much as it's all precautions to ensure clubs aren't providing an unfair advantage and guys aren't breaking rules or getting close to limits.
@trottiegolf extremely interesting!! I have never heard of this concept before. This is something i would love to hear you get into more!! Thanks for response and looking forward to more educational videos on thistopisc
Ok Trottie, big question for you. My wedges are currently 50-10C 54-12X 58-08Z For Christmas my toddlers are "helping" me design an MG4 to replace my 50 and high toes to replace my 54/58. I love my wedge setup currently but the TaylorMade custom program doesnt offer the bounces/grinds I play in the high toe 54/58. My question is should I try to match my current wedge bounces by having them factory bent, or is matching the grind more important? What i am thinking is that for the 54 I would go 56.11ATV grind (the only personalized 54° available is the ATC grind) and bend it 2° strong taking the bounce down to 9, but providing me with the grind I want? Then with the 58° bending the 60.08 down two degrees to get the bound to 6° but getting to have the wedge in the ATC grind (the only 58° available is the ATS) Or am i overthinking it, and by adjusting the loft/bounce the grind isnt going to perform how I want it to?
What would be the standard progression in shaft length moving from irons to wedges? I would of assumed 0.5" all the way through but new fitted set went from "0.5 4-9i, then 0.25" Pw to lob, thoughts?
Is there any way I could get a kingdom driver cover or a signed trottie TaylorMade putter cover,im a huge collector and would love to add something nice to my collection 😊
This is just torture for gearheads who have no access to this level of quality. 😂
It’s like they’re rubbing it in 😂
LITERALLY!
Would absolutely kill to have access to this truck at all times😂😂
Trottie, you are excellent spokesman for the Taylormade! You really sell yourself, Taylormade, the players, and the game. I enjoy all of your videos!

Can you provide more details on Morikawa’s grip builds?
Just curious…..how many tours of the tour truck you going to do year after year. The only thing that changes is the wrapping on the outside lol

That’s what TaylorMade have done from pw down to lob wedge it’s 0.25*

hey was wondering if anyone could gimme some tips on how to bring my spin down with my irons cause they've been going to space lately
Measure your dynamic loft & AoA with irons
But CAN YOU confirm or deny what it means if theres a + stamped in the hosel of my driver?
If there is a + stamped on the hosel of your driver it means it’s a tour issued driver head,I’ve got a tour issue stealth head with the + aswell
Were you bending a couple irons at once then mate?
@@GTF85 🤣 I’m good but not that good

What is the price tag on that trailer?
A _ L O T would be my guess
