This TAS was INSANE! My favorite's have to be Hoppers, Inchworms, U.R.L., Arthropod, Stagger, and AUTO DOORS of course! I can't believe how creative that strategy is! Too bad we couldn't get to see stages like Giant Comb and Randomizer, but this is still a great TAS byrz.
These TASes have all been fantastic, but let me say that I've never quite had the reactions to any of these TAS only strats than to that fucking Auto Doors one. Keep up the work man!
I was not prepared for this, despite greatly anticipating it ever since the twin Expert runs were made. Also, Auto Doors...what in God's breast nectar was that? I acknowledge it, but can't believe it.
It is. Doing it the normal way caused you to lose your momentum at every door. But by skipping doors, he doesn't have to worry about that, even if it looks like it takes a while
3:13 mad rings gave me total fear when I would try going for the goal at the very end with the 3rd ring moving at horrifying speed and I would always feel fear of getting knocked off. Man I miss monkey ball so much, can't wait for super monkey ball retro tho. (Nick Robinson/Brian Matt)
I think you can get a bit higher second clip and slow down before getting to the goal and still be faster than the old strat. Getting this low clips and goaling is extremely hard, I don't really see anyone getting 55.2x on console. Either way you would need be really lucky to pull it off on console because most of time you would just not collide with the rings like this.
I just noticed the pause on Rampage. Was that the same reason as the pause on Folders in the Beginner TAS? It even happens around the same time in the movie.
The Starlow Show look for a better rom, on dolphin the most popular rom for smb2 is buggy, has bad music cut outs, it's a miracle for the cutscenes to work, the timer is broken and other bugs.

Yes it was exactly the same thing. It happens on that same frame on every SMB2 recording. :(
Did this bug get fixed in Dolphin 5.0?
We haven't tested at all. Last I had checked, no one had fixed it in more recent versions.
