    - 1 big cup Jowar/ Jwaar flour
    - 1 tbsp Sesame seeds/ Til
    - 1 tbsp Carom seeds/ Ajwain
    - 1 tsp Red chilli powder
    - 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder/ Haldi
    - 1 tsp Oil
    - Salt to taste
    - Oil to fry

    Hi..I made chakli excatly according to ur instructions but it turned out to be soft from inside. Taste and look is perfect. Pls suggest where I m wrong. One thing to be noted that I didn't add 1 tbsp of water while kneading as it was not required. TIA

      I also tried her redeipe as per instructions, but the chaklis became soft, soggy and oily. Taste was perfect. I can't understand what went wrong. Should I put a little less water? The dough was ultra soft. Could thisbe the reason for soft chaklis. Can anyone please help and guide me. I'm making for my son whonis suffering from IBS.

      Stays crispy for 15-20 days if stored in air tight jar :)

      Yes you can. But with Rice flour, it'll be a bit difficult to make.

      After you let the dough rest for 10 minutes, you have to knead it after that. While kneading, the dough would be a bit warm. If you feel its too hot to knead, you can wait until it's barrable for you. :)

    Ma'am tried today your recipe. Thank you . They became crispy, but after complete cooling . But the last left over I made kadboli shape,it burst and oil spilled out all over .I had switched off the gas n put a kadboli.can you tell what went wrong. But the chakli became super crispy and tasty.

      The thing with kadboli is, it is made with hands. This creates many small air pockets inside it and they burst when you fry it. So only thing I can suggest is, don't try making kadboli with this dough. You can always make Chakli or Chakli sticks, using the Chakli Saacha. :)
