  • Should thin people be given jobs over fat people? And should shops refuse to stock clothes for obese people? That’s what controversial magazine editor Samantha Yardly thinks. In a recent blog post, Samantha claimed that life should made as difficult as possible for people who are obese, in order to force the “lazy” members of society and those who “lack self-worth” to change their unhealthy lifestyles. Samantha joins us today to share her extreme views.

I agree completely, an obese person is responsible for their size. Being obese causes many medical conditions also many reasons are mental health and this is sad. More help is needed with attitude to food. Why can a bus driver be morbidly obese and at risk of sudden death heart attack at the wheel be allowed to drive, pilots have strict medicals.

Having been raised as a fatty by my parents (both of whom are fat) & my sister will never know in her lifetime what it feels like to not be fat, this woman is a breath of fresh air
My childhood was miserable & the lack of confidence led to depression & a break down.
I wanted something better & being a fatty was no good to me. The fat people I know tend to be the most opinionated. It's unhealthy living with a fat person, as you're more likely to get fat too.
My ex was slim & promiscuous in her youth. Having helped her with her body clock issue she then turned into a fatty for me. It was like a kick in the teeth & it pushed me away from her.
Presently I am being targeted at work by a woman who is short & fat. She is so rude.
I couldn't care less what any fatty thinks because I know first hand that being fat made me demoralised

I think it’s up to businesses to stop selling food they know is unhealthy. I’ve heard like 70% of grocery stores are full of processed food for example. And look at all the Starbucks and McDonald’s out there. Before we put this all on the obese person to lose weight by not being able to shop in their size for example, think about how businesses are contributing to this. Also government regulations on ingredients.

@@missdaydreamss Yes it is that simple. The only way to lose weight is on a calorie deficit and the only way to get on a calorie deficit is to eat less calories than maintenance and to move around more. The information on what to do is very simple, but applying it may be hard for some people. That's the only way anyone loses weight so it is that simple knowledge wise. If some people find that knowledge challenging and hard to apply it doesn't change the fact that that is the simple truth of how it's done. Challenging or not this is still the only method. Not liking the only method or finding it too hard doesn't change the fact that it is the only method. No one loses fat by eating more and moving less do they? What I'm saying is just a fact.

    1. People who are obese are NOT lazy. LAUGHABLE. There are obese individuals who have made more intellectual, social and career achievements than the three of them put together.
    2. She discusses “days off” but does not discuss productivity. Obese people are often times more productive. Additionally, does she factor in maternity when she states “days off.”
    3. Epigenetics plays a factor that has to be accounted for when choosing to suggest everyone needs to be a size six. Menopause, ethnicity, just to name a few.
    4. The more uncomfortable someone is about themselves … they try to assimilate … however may not get to a root cause functional analysis and change to their relationship with food.
Additionally… I thought it was laughable that the hosts apologized for her all throughout..

I’m a Christian and this isn’t a debate about beauty it’s about health. Over eating and breads sickness and early death. God gave us a body to take care of it. Killing yourself because of gluttony is a sin against yourself and God

    1 Peter 3:3-4
“Your beauty should not come from outward adornments, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight”.

Samantha is a shallow superficial person and honestly, she shot herself in the foot. I hope God helps her swallow that tough pill of truth.

@EmilyGlorggler7984 I wholeheartedly agree. You are brave for speaking up. This is a control agenda brought about to control people. She is part of an agenda. This is all fake and staged. The food prices are through the roof, research shows that this starvation causes overeating. This is all planned by the elites and "other countries" 🙄 infiltrating.

There weren’t morbidly obese people in biblical times 🤣
But there was the capital sin of sloth.
One of the seven capital sins. In general it means disinclination to labour or exertion. As a capital or deadly vice St. Thomas (II-II:35) calls it sadness in the face of some spiritual good which one has to achieve (Tristitia de bono spirituali)
