Travelled from Kent ( near Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone, from viewing in ‘74 ish) to Apex in Bury St Edmonds few years back, to see..still the same as back in the 70’s…😅
Still a Fabulous Live Band, I saw them Yesterday at our local rock festival in Wisbech, they were brilliant , we were all strutting and singing along, fabulous show, fabulous people, of course not the original line up, but all in the Spirit, and still Showaddywaddy, brilliant evening Julie
Same here Julie Saw the Original Band in live 1977 fantastic. and in the latest line up several times with Andy Pelos on vocals keeping the band alive, again Brilliant
Saw you when you first started out at the Sundowners club Eastbourne many other time think the last was at High Rocks Tunbridge Wells thanks for the great music of my youth Only just seen this tonight jan 19 2021 brilliant 👍👍👍👍👍👌🎵
You are missed Rod, all past members are missed that's for sure. Just got back from Albert Halls Bolton, another fantastic night again. Wouldn't it be a great line up on stage with all of past and present members together? :-)
I was at Bolton Albert Halls Saturday !With my mum, They were on fire ,the atmosphere was fab ,Loved them since I was a kid ,I'm 52 now and only just seen them live,PAST AND PRESENT! THEIR AMAZING EVERYONE OF THEM😊👏👏👏 my 85 year old mum was grooving away all night haha can't wait for their return WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE! 24 pound is nothing 😟! knowing how great they perform and sound I'd even pay double YA KNOW YA GONNA HAVE A FABULOUS NIGHTS ENTERTAINMENT.
I went to school with Rod Deas in Malta Tal Handaq he had a group and him and his mate used to tease my friend and I in class and get us into trouble !
I think that is a bit disrespectful to Dave to be honest. He selflessly kept the band going knowing he could no longer sing with them. He did a fantastic job of finding Andy as the new front man in my honest opinion. Then all the lads that replaced other members to. Still a great live band to go and see, we have just got back from the Albert Halls in Bolton and the atmosphere was electric, the halls were rocking for sure tonight. Give them another chance and listen with fresh ears please..
The drummer, Romeo Challenger, has always looked out of place. Never smiling or laughing, he came across as though he was not enjoying himself like the others. Nowadays, he sports a head full of ‘shitlocks,’ he just looks utterly ridiculous, and as non-rock ‘n’ roll as you can get.
People who have brought joy to Millions, with ten top ten hits and a number one Single and Album, I'm guessing that's more than you have achieved, have some respect for talent and showmanship please, getting up on stage and entertaining people is not easy, people who still love doing it should be celebrated, if they're not your taste, then what are you doing here commenting on them?, no one who loves this band, despite line up changes as people retire or die is going to be interested in your opinion
Followed showwaddywaddy since 1973 seen. Members pass on and retired thanks rod for all your music
