the thing I luv about this (apart from Showaddywaddy obviously) is the crowd. They don't seem the have a clue who the band are or what the songs are but are still enjoying it 😆
This how they were the last time I saw them. They get all the audience dancing and enjoying themselves. They're absolutely brilliant. I still listen to them a lot as I got several of their CD's 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂
yeah, thats how we socialised, age didn,t come into it, we just all had a good night together, it didn,t matter if you were 18 or 80 we just had a good time, but now, i,m getting to an old age. Age 60, & if you say hi to a younger person. They just give you a strange look, which is very sad, & it make,s me wonder what is wrong with them, or what have i done wrong to them, we live in really sad time,s now compared to which way it used to be, & it will only get worse, i know what time.s i would rather be in, take me back to about 1985 please,
The difference was that they appealed across the age spectrum and captured three generations without insulting anyone. What fun and something that will never be repeated
Today is March 25th 2020, I am 72, quarrentined because of this virus. I just found this group. Listened to a couple of songs, big mistake, because now I am HOOKED can't get enough of this music. Been listening for almost 8 hours straights. So much better than today's crap

Such a great time to grow up .The social music scene the length and breadth of Britain was massive ,from village hall's to clubs and pubs this is what Saturday nights were all about. Our children and grandchildren missed so much. Happy days and nights!
all the old people of that generation, that used to socialise & have a laugh & a good time are sadly no longer with us. & all we are left with even if you go in a pub. (Thats if your lucky to find a pub thats still open), is maybe a few groups of people that just keep in their own little bubble, & if you happen to try & have a chat with any of them, you can hear them wispering to eachother ( do you know him) its sad which way times have changed, cos i,ve allways been the type that will make conversation with anyone, esp when i,ve had a couple pints of beer etc, regardless of age color or appearance etc etc. & i usuly can tell at first glance whether anyone is approchable, We are all eqaual & we should all just join in & have a chat & a laugh & joke, whether we know eachother or not. That was the whole point of having a public house, it was a place to socialise with anyone that was in at the same time.
This is just beyond brilliant ! Literally everyone from every age in the moment. Great to see the band clearly enjoying themselves too . These guys knew how to rock
I can’t understand why the radio stations don’t play any of their hits anymore...after all they had at least 22chart hits plus a number 1!!!still love em today..anyone who hasn’t yet...listen to the sun album they recorded few years ago,,,great!!!
I've noticed many of the commercial radio stations play the same limited selection of artists to death - Elton John, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, BeeGees, Whitney Houston, Blondie to name most of them! I seem to spend most of my time in the car surfing stations before eventually muting the sound in frustration. What is going on?!
Brilliant band live. Many great memories. There shows were so much fun, somehow always managed to end up on the stage at the end of the show bopping with the guys.
You know when you're getting old. When those old grannies are giving it large. Like I did when I saw them. Holy moly. But Hey Rock and Roll. Is about the best song ever ☺️
God I wish I could have been there!! Loved them since 1973, saw them in Oxford twice….buddy was my fave ..but I remember desperately trying to get malc to throw me one of his earrings from the side of the stage! He loved to interact with the crowd. Great video.
For my late sister Angela who was in love with Dave Bartram. She got to see him before she died and he gave her some Showaddywaddy goodies and his autograph. 😢
Just came across this today 🎉 fantastic! I loved them when they released Hey Rock and Roll , saw them in Dublin in the o2 in a seventys show which included Suzi Q the Sweet, Alvin Stardust, headlined by Shawaddy ,great night's entertainment I can't remember the year, nineties I expect ❤
