I spliced together a number of radio clips of Rush Limbaugh ranting on race. It ain't a pretty thing, I'll tell you. After putting them together I decided to turn the tables on Rush and do a little mocking myself. [Repost. Had some minor problems with chroma key masks at 720P on first uploaded video.]
There is not a single example of Rush stating a racist thought. You seem to think that if you oppose Obama you are racist, not you just oppose Obama. It is only the left that makes a big deal about his skin color.
@ThePropagandaFactory Appoligize for what? He is not a racist. He is an entertainer that loves to tweek liberals. He knows how to push your buttons and get you talking about himself.
@SecretGerms The first part of the quote is not racist, in fact he states very clearly - Slavery was a bad thing. The second half is Rush tweeking liberals like yourself and you don't realize it is a tweek. I will give you a clue - he is an entertainer and tweeks like this spin up folks like you and then you talk about him generating interest in his show. His ratings go up.
I am surprised you didn't go for the parody Rush has run for years on "The Magic Negro" song.
@SecretGerms Still not racist in the slightest. Please post the entire quote (entire monologue) to get the context. You are simply using media matters talking points instead of trying to understand the issue.

@SecretGerms How do you propose to prove what is in Rush's heart of hearts? He is using humor and he is tweeking you much to his glee. Answer me this - if he is such a huge racist why does he support so many black conservatives? (Hermain Cain, Walter Williams, Clearance Thomas,...).
@SecretGerms Yes free speech is just so overrated. We must only espouse viewpoints that have been approved by the administration.

@SecretGerms Wise up - how? I am just stating that he is not racist. it is good entertainment and both sides put out good ideas.
So you cut several long quotes from Rush over a long time to try and pain his as a racist. Pretty lame.

@SecretGerms Again partial quotes from long discussions that you read on Media Matters and you are dutifully reposting. Try this, listen to him for 30 days and see if your opinion changes. It will force you to think and listen to an alternative point of view. You will see he is not racist but a very good political provocateur. And before you start to spout - well you do the same. I listen to right-wing radio on the morning commute, and left-wing on the way home.
