WOW!!!!! What a combination Great folk music and Yorkshire Brass., It doesn't get any better than this.
For me, this is one of the deepest, most haunting Kate Rusby anthems. I hear it as a hymn, a zen hymn, and it brings tear to my eyes every time. This colorful arrangement continues this song's array of wonderful performances.
This song means so much to me. I used to sing it with my (now 19 year old) daughter in the car. That brass...wow.

Just discovered your music. This song brought me to my knees awash with tears. I feel the story of love and infinity of love. For anyone who has lost a relative or relationship this is a song of truthful hope. I’m blown away like no other song in the past decade.

Kate, I just wanted to tell you how much your music means to me. I discovered you back in 2011 and fell in love. In 2017 my online friend(from england💚)was coming to visit me and I had just moved into a new place and all of these very big life changes were happening to and your music was constantly in my cd player/spotify.... listening to your songs brings me back to those magical and transformative times of my life... and oh I married the English man(But nfortunately he's still in the UK and I the US) 💚💚😍😍😍 lots of love to you and your family. Really beautiful! I loved the introduction of the virtual orchestra Over the lockdown period, two of Britain's greatest contemporary singer/songwriters - Kate Rusby and Nerina Pallot - have done a wonderful job of lifting their fans' spirits with their incredible online sessions (Nerina Pallot's sessions, by the way, are live @8pm on Thursday on TH-cam. they were weekly, and now fortnightly). Much as I love these online sessions, I'm really looking forward to the return of LIVE music. When lockdown ends, we must all make an effort to go to more live shows - to support the musicians, and for the sheer joy of sharing in the live experience.

in 2004 I joined the RAF, and as I drove down South to basic training this song came on radio 2. The first weekend I was allowed off camp I bought a little CD player and the album. To say it got me through the most stressful 9 weeks of my life is an understatement. I don't know if Kate reads these messages, I like to think she does, so I'd like to say thank you for that album and everything since.

Her accent is still there.Listen to how she sings 'underneath' for example.
