This is what TH-cam is for. Great channel! After seeing the MLB @ Field of Dreams game rently 8/12/2021. I've extended this 49 minute 52 seconds video in to triple its length just to re-hear the stories! Thanks for the production and upload.
Quite well done, wonderful insights . . . It's now mid-2022 and I found myself drawn back to the movie after three years, as I used "that-line" . . . ease their pain . .. in an email today. This interview is a classic example of the value that one-to-one, sit-down over lunch, personal relationships , that collaborations produce.
I loved the film Field Of Dreams. One day I was walking past an astrology shop in London England and there was a box of books outside that said Free please take one, I was drawn to a Blue white and yellow cover that turn out to be Field Of Dreams Shoeless Joe. So I took the book and read it. One thing that made me laugh was this copy of Field Of Dreams had been stolen from a prison library, also as soon as I finish reading the book I lost it and I like to think this book had a mission to inspire people. Prison walls could not keep this book in and after it had inspired me it needed to find someone else to inspire! I am working on my last project for my foundation year at Falmouth University Cornwall doing a BA in film and I found this interview another field of dreams moment.
Ray did not look like a good batter. Anyone who has played baseball can see that. You can tell Kevin has played ball, in fact I saw him play in an old timers game and he is pretty good
Steve Wyche, I disagree. The scene when Kevin Costner pitched to Ray Liotta, it was 100% real. It was only one take, and it was not rehearsed. Kevin Costner reviewed the scene, after it was filmed, and decided there was no need to do a retake. It was perfect after just one take.
@@stevewyche5232 NOT my problem that you're unable to comprehend the truth/facts. Kevin Costner stated such facts during the "Field of Dreams" 25 years anniversary.

I love hearing Phil's story at the (41 minute mark) about how he did the cars shot at the movie's end.

I love Amy Madigan. She was perfect for Annie. She's in greys anatomy as a psychiatrist.
What works what does not? It all works and works Beautifully my favorite movie i love it😉
I love this, but how is a sacrifice fly not an at bat?
just like a walk isnt an at bat. scoring that run from third is more important than the out
17:50 ironic...interview with director of film about ghosts features his own ghost
