Also SsGods trait is that it has restorative properties. Than UI sign bcuz the defensive traits (not the form) can be used with the other forms
I think I have a complete opposite opinion on God vs Blue (& Beast) Like Blue coming out of nowhere and essentially rendering God (a form that BoG’s plot was predicated on) as useless isn’t a knock on God, but Blue. Blue’s existence wasn’t really a necessity either, Goku & Vegeta achieving Super Saiyan God without the ritual (which we now know they ended up doing before Blue) is a better way to progress the two characters. What Seth said (God only appearing once) would’ve been what could’ve justified Blue’s existence. And what Seth said about Beast making Ultimate worse is actually what makes Beast bad.
Has no significance nor foreshadowing. Was completely out of no where and is essentially ssj2 with blue aura. Plus there’s multiple forms with pupiless eyes
@@yukikid2195 I thought it made good sense like his God ki was coming thru from him remembering his Kai training thus the minimal blue ki in the yellow
@@RexCGB that’s the thing tho. If god ki was accessible back then, why not train gohan to use it during his training instead of pulling out a sword. Or goku when he was sitting around waiting for gohan to have his potential unlocked.
Man Swag kept saying there’s multiple aspects to the rankings and then consistently stated “what has X achieved” when referring to why it shouldn’t be higher. I love all these guys content but bro, what did SSJFP Broly achieve? He beat Goku and Vegeta up but couldn’t put down a weaker Freeza after over an hour of laying into him. SSJG in canon was beating the snot out of Black and would have killed him if Zamasu hadn’t saved him. Blue killed and definitively defeated Freeza. Rosé defeated blue multiple times. SSJ4, the most overrated form ever and is only so high because ascetics, defeated one main villain. One. Out of 3 in a show where Goku was supposed to be god level consistently. If we’re taking into account the ratio of what SSJ4 COULD have defeated in GT as opposed to what it did, SSJB is well above that. But then, that’s just based off Seags arguments within the video. He said it’s based on X, Y, Z but then only brought up a single aspect when arguing why that fork deserves to be higher.
Personally, mine would be as such with 3 per tier. F tier: SSJ2, SSJRage, SSJ Grade 3. SSJ2 was impressive when Gohan did it, but visually it is too much like SSJ1 and isn't really identifiable. Rage and Grade 3 are unfortunately very, bad. Rage seemed simply plot contrived nonsense boost for Trunks, and should've just been him hitting SSJ3 really. Grade 3 is an unreasonably buff bird with no good qualities outside of raw power. Only really good if your opponent stands still and lets ya boost an attack, but the form is redundant due to being completely outclassed by SSJ2 in every way. D Tier: Golden Oozaru, Oozaru, and Blue Kaioken. I'm not a fan of the Oozaru form simply due to it being not something I'm too fond of visually, and golden boi doesn't really fix that either. They're down in D because of my pure distaste of their visual design and not because of narrative. (Friendly reminder Oozaru is a 10x multiplier and therefore Vegeta Oozaru could have a power level high enough to smash Ginyu lol multipliers) Blue Kaioken is here because I dislike the idea of stacking the Kaioken onto a Super Saiyan form. Stacking Kaioken onto any level of Super Saiyan for me opens the narrative issue that Kaioken requires perfect Ki control. This means that the perfect Ki control Goku and Gohan developed for SSJ Grade 4 would allow Goku to use Kaioken on Super Saiyan back then, meaning that reasonably speaking, Goku could've used it back then. It seems silly to think that if SSJ2 is just a 2x multiplier of SSJ Grade 4, then Goku had access to a much more powerful boost and just, didn't use it. Not a fan. C Tier: SSJ Grade 2, SSJ Rose, SSJ Blue Evolution. Grade 2 was pretty enjoyable to see a jacked Vegeta give Semi-perfect Cell a thorough beatdown. Also, bit of bias but the Final Flash had its debut with this form and it was extremely fantastic visually and I loved every second of it on screen. Rose was certainly its own visually impressive form, but I disliked the character behind it and how it was just Blue but better because plot. Skipping literally all of the growth to get a godly form felt really cheap in my book. Blue Evolution falls into the same category for me as SSJ2 in that it isn't visually distinct enough. My eyes are a bit bad with colors so it doesn't feel too entirely different enough for me. Like the eyes though. Really nice change for those. Blue for me though is a much better color than yellow so, really big visual upgrade there. B Tier: Broly Ikari, SSJ3, SSJ Blue. Broly has a bit of a soft spot in my book, and him having access to a completely unique form that nobody else has shown made me really excited. It stands out, is wild, and completely crushed it on his showing of it. Plus, those eyes are really strikingly piercing and I love that sense of pure anger you can see in them. SSJ3 for me is super visually nutty with all that hair. Big, flashy, lots of power. It'd be A Tier but, the lack of eyebrows really puts me off. Plus, narratively I dislike how SSJ3 could've solved the Buu problem, but Goku was a complete idiot and screwed it all up in the sake of trying to get the next generation a chance. That move nearly cost the entire next generation and everyone else alongside it. Blue is perhaps one of my favorites and has a fantastic look to it. The first time we see Goku and Vegeta go Blue with that fantastic shell breaking animation was super hype. I was on board for that and hoped Blue would continue to be like a breaking of the shell. Unfortunately, Blue being stronger than God left a sore taste in my mouth. Blue showed up immediately to replace God, and didn't give God time to shine. If Blue was an omen of them working back up to God, then I'd be much happier. A Tier: SSJ God, SSJ4, Ultra Instinct. God visually was a departure of the bigger Super Saiyan forms. Leaner, with striking red eyes and hair. It stood out as godly, and red is often the color of anger and rage. A flashing warning sign. I think the red of God really captured what a Saiyan God should look like. A glaring furious warning of how sheer furious rage was the deep source of a Saiyan's fullest power. Immensely awesome. In contrast, SSJ4 perfectly captured in my eyes the full force of what a mortal Saiyan's nature looked like. Completely different than the other Saiyan forms visually, narratively was extremely well handled. Peak mortal performance. Just not divine looking in my eyes. A different path if you will. Ultra Instinct. I love silver. Absolute favorite color right there. I'm also extremely fond of how narratively amazing the idea is that someone has honed their reflexes to such a degree that their body automatically can react and fight without thinking about it. Creates the ability to multitask as one fights and I think Ultra Instinct's potential has yet to be fully realized. S Tier: SSJ1, Ultimate Gohan, Legendary Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan needs no explanation. It is iconic, and, well it's Super Saiyan. Come on. Ultimate Gohan on the other hand seems very, weird. It's pretty much just a very normal looking form. However, it has a monstrous amount of power and massive amounts of potential. The sheer amount of gains Gohan got training with it makes me adore the form. It pushed Gohan's potential through the roof and gave him such insane power that I can't help but love it. It is Gohan's monstrous speed of growth given form and scarily enough, doesn't have a visual indication of itself. Though Super Hero seemed to give that a bit of difference. I'm a huge fan of Gohan being a monster when it comes to power, and this form represented that perfectly. His monstrous potential being himself. The Legendary Super Saiyan. It's huge. It's green. It absolutely crushes everything it has fought. Z Broly absolutely flexing on the entire cast, to Super Broly being so strong it pushed a Goku and Vegeta fusion to actually go all out. Maybe. Either way, the huge monstrous form really hits me, and the seemingly endless amount of power welling up with that form really strikes as a "kill that Saiyan now before he evolves past us" type of monster that will no matter what, keep growing in power.
@@von1626 It's not wildly different though. 3 has absurdly long hair with a lack of eyebrows. 4 has different hair entirely, along with color, more body hair, a tail, different eyes, definitively different disposition. God is a divine red with different eyes as well as a leaner appearance, and Blue is literally blue. SSJ2 though has by far the least differences. Gohan as a teen is one of the few with a really noticeable SSJ2. The form is visually very bland and practically worthless to really show when in regards to visual distinction. SSJ2 Goku looks almost exactly like SSJ1 Goku, and therefore doesn't do well from a visual standpoint. Every other Super Saiyan form has some uniqueness to it. 2 really doesn't have that. The only time it has it is in regards to Teen Gohan.
@@yukikid2195super saiyan god is what literally introduced the characters and series to the concept of god ki. sure shin existed but his ki wasn't a big concern until beerus and the suggestion of the super saiyan god. it may have not been a form that impacted the story itself, but it was the stepping stone to having god ki transformations like blue, ui, and ultra ego. for some reason it's rated low despite all this tho
@@chrisarts__ yeah but take all that and give it to another form hypothetically. Like if blue was first, what then, does it have to boast about? Like actual feats and not just doorways to multiple colors.
@@kleatise52 it would still be something new. And with every new thing there will be haters. Just look at super. They may as well just keep going with original and movie pulled ideas
Only reason why SSJ2 > Ultimate Gohan imo is because SSJ2 meant much more. Ultimate Gohan would be much cooler if Gohan trained for it, not sitting for the entire of the middle of Buu Arc whilst elder kai gave him a massage until he came back to fight Buu. Ultimate Gohan looks much cooler as Gohan feels more mature as a fighter, unlike SSJ2 which is just SSJ with lightning. Ultimate Gohan is cool but the way it got to the power up is really shit. I gues you could argue SSJB does the same sort of thing but at least it has a cool reveal out of nowhere in a movie. We know EXACTLY how Gohan got his ultimate form and it's so ass. Ain't no way people liked sitting waiting for Gohan to finish getting his power up, he's not even waiting in an entertaining way, it's just boring.
For me ssj3 should not be as high as most the lists had it. Just like ssj2 ssj3 does NOTHING. It holds off Buu, helps Goku dodge a hit from buutenks, lost to kid Buu and then lost to beerus. After that it still does nothing. Goku uses it like once in the T.O.P and in the black arc to simulate fighting Goku black. Ssj3 was also like blue where it was just pulled out of their ass. Real quick, ssj2 is a shit transformation, in the modern show it does nothing, it’s just better super saiyan, and it hardly looks different. However if we only look at it from the cell saga, the form is the unleashing of gohans potential, it’s the payoff for the entirety of gohan’s character buildup, a power that only he could obtain. The moment he surpassed everyone, the passing of the torch. In this context it means everything. But further into the series it’s literally worthless. So unfortunately you have to put it pretty low

SsjGod can beat Ssjblue bcuz of the trick to defend in SsjGod but attack as Ssjblue this creates an explosion of power for each strike making it more efficient and hit harder than just fully boosting to blue. Also SsGods trait is that it has restorative properties. Than UI sign bcuz the defensive traits (not the form) can be used with the other forms
I think I have a complete opposite opinion on God vs Blue (& Beast)
Like Blue coming out of nowhere and essentially rendering God (a form that BoG’s plot was predicated on) as useless isn’t a knock on God, but Blue.
Did you want Dragon Ball z in Portuguese or something bro?
Bro why is no one fuxing with Trunk's Rage form? The white eyes were fire no?
Has no significance nor foreshadowing. Was completely out of no where and is essentially ssj2 with blue aura. Plus there’s multiple forms with pupiless eyes
@@yukikid2195 I thought it made good sense like his God ki was coming thru from him remembering his Kai training thus the minimal blue ki in the yellow
@@RexCGB that’s the thing tho. If god ki was accessible back then, why not train gohan to use it during his training instead of pulling out a sword. Or goku when he was sitting around waiting for gohan to have his potential unlocked.
I agree it looks dope. But it’s just for another toy sale sadly. Same thing with blue evolved.
You can definitely tell the difference between ssj2 and ssj.Obviously the lighting but ssj2 has a lot more spikes on the hair with less bangs.
You should really space your tier list dude.
The fact that ssjb is higher than ssj2 on all of these is crazy to me. I hate blue with a passion
No way super sayian 2 gohan is that low
If 2/3 of the people in this video can't be bothered to pay attention IN the video. Why should I?
Unpopular opinion ozaru should have been what ssj4 is as per the looks with same power and the mindlessness setback as normal ozaru
God is super underrated its a tier at least. Beast Gohan probably a and orange piccolo a. Not gonna lie I think super sayin 4 should be a not s
Super sayin 4 is hype bc of the video games imo but agreed. I'd call it a high A tier
@@dimitrilitovsk2372 what have the video games done for it that GT didn’t already achieve?
God has such little impact on everything. Only thing interesting is it’s design

Blue kaioken is s tier for me dawg
If it’s just a super Saiyan tier list why is ultra instinct included?
Where’s ultra ego?
No foreshadowing, no hints that he has it, he just does it.

Blue should be second especially considering how much both Goku and Vegeta uses blue in Super, almost as much as super saiyan in DBZ plus Goku can stack Kio-ken.
That’s specially why it should be lower, that form got shit on so many times and it accomplished nothing.
@@Nikketmzee
At best, it flexed on Hit after Goku analyzed him and scaled up from Base to God to Blue. And that's only in the manga, and still wasn't a real W. Besides that, it takes too many Ls for how much it gets used. And is just an SSJ recolor, which I wouldn't take issue with if it wasn't such an L taker.

Love these guys but this was the worst tier list video I've ever seen 😂. Why would you put a limit on how many in 1 tier to stop it from being "arbitrary"? Making a random limit makes it way more arbitrary, not even a point of grading them anymore it's just a ranking 😭
