A lot of people simply forget Krillin IS a master martial artist. Just because physically he's weaker than most things they fight, doesn't mean he doesn't have the fighting skill to fight higher tier opponents if he could close the gap. The fact he consistently at least holds his own despite this shows he's a force to be reckoned with.
Honestly, i would consider himnthe best turtle school student, while Goku can be a descent combat analyst, his own fighting style is actually pretty straight foward (Just raise yourstats bro), so most of his support techniques only exist because he needed a sepecific counter to his opponent, or were part of his trainig under another master, meanwhile Krillin, just like roshi, uses diverse techniques not as suplementary to his offensive, but as his main attack method, catching them off-guard and using burst of raw power just to finie 'em off
Krillin if he were properly followed up on in DBZ and allowed to use all of his frankly broken techs, would be an absolute menace to the villains in DBZ, GT and Super. Even if he doesn't necessarily punch as hard, he has a gang of support moves and the ability to outthink an opponent massively more powerful than him At least when the writers remember he has them.

We also gotta consider that, in the manga, the destructo disk can cut through anything. Cell tanking it and Gohan catching it are anime exclusive things and the only reason Krillin doesn’t just whip it out and slice Freeza’s head off is because it would end the story too quickly. It’s actually a super OP technique.
Jiren punched and broke through destructo disk. He also literally caught it and threw it right back. Cell tanking it makes sense considering how much larger the power gap is between perfect cell and krillin versus 2nd form frieza and krillin.

I think sometimes people forget krillin has been around a while and was a martial artist most of his life. I want to see more of the Z fighters training, because in every new arc they have somehow surpassed the last arcs big baddy in power, sometimes by a large margin! I know Z had very long timeskips between arcs but it still shocks me how much the humans grow in that time.
For one of the most deadly attacks, destructo disk sure does do a lot of non killing in the series, I wish we had at least one moment where Destructo disk actually lands and kills someone, because now it's like Vegeta's Full Power Final Flash, you literally have to stand still to get hit by it and even if it hits it never actually does anything significant.
Krillin and Roshi are true OGs (same with Bulma and sort of Yamcha), super under appreciated, especially by the people who haven’t read or watched original DB.

People who think Saitama would easily neg current DBS characters are severely confused. The DBS powercreep is very pervasive, and honestly hard to get at first, so I don't exactly blame them totally.
We just don’t have enough saitama to even say who would win. DB has been out since the 90’s or even earlier. OPM has been out for like 6 years we don’t know the extent of saitamas power we don’t know how strong he truly is he has yet to be really tested even in the manga

SSj3 Goku was on a galactic level of power, going toe-to-toe with Buu, who could destroy galaxies, given enough time. (That's literally canon.) Goku has become so much more power now, though, that the powercreep scaling puts him far above any amount of stars in the observable universe. It straight up doesn't matter. He almost punched away the entire universe while trading blows with Beerus. The power output for that is countlessly more than any amount of stars in the Universe. It's not even close, dude.
I just noticed something ironic about freeza's death. We all know that he died bc he got sliced by his own attack but what less people focus about is that he killed Krillin but ironically his version of Krillin's attack is what killed him

The base version of it was a mix of several continental beings and then it got an unknown amp that we basically have no info on the significance of. What we do know is that the Cataclysm was multi-continental, or destroying the whole earth's surface if we're being generous, and Nappa could do that much easier. This also depends on what Madara we're talking about. 10-Tails revived full power Madara (pre Kaguya) vs Nappa would probably be an interesting fight. Although, Goku and Vegeta here are far beyond planet level and they solo most of Naruto bar probably exactly post 10 tails level characters that also have hacks that they couldn't avoid.
Something you didn't mention, is after Killin fought Gohan, he fought Goku. He actually forced Goku to go Super Sayian. That's pretty impressive considering that even Frieza 4th form couldn't do that in Resurrection F until Frieza went Gold. In that sparing match, they do a classic beam struggle as well, with Goku in Blue form. Krillin actually managed to push Goku back a bit during that. Yes, Goku was holding back, but the fact that Krillin pushed it back at all is very impressive. Especially when you consider the power multipliers that Blue gives Goku.
You know you kinda forgot to mention the fact that in superhero, the destruco disk he threw STAGGERED him. Like the only things that genuinely threw cell of balance or stopped him was piccolo releasing a huge ki blast into the back of cells head, gamma 2s sacrifice, giant orange piccolo & beast gohan. Krillin managed to do stagger something that literally half of the fighters couldn’t do without killing themselves

Krillin has been my favorite Dragon Ball character for as long as I can remember. He was awesome in the Super Dragon Ball Z game and it made me go back and appreciate him in a new light. When Master Roshi said that Krillin was always THERE it basically reaffirmed everything I believed. He made not be the strongest but hes always there if he can be, and every time he provides something crucial. From information, to ideas, and being a friend. Sorry for ranting lmao. I just am a big Krillin stan.

Dude's one of my top 3 characters in Dragon Ball. Right up there with 17 and Frieza, IMO. It's a shame he gets the background character treatment so badly. Hell, he did manage to hold out for about a minute vs SSJB Goku during that beam struggle. Even if Goku wasn't going all out, that has to count for something.
Haha. After TOP 17 and Frieza also land in my favorite characters. These two had the best redemption (Not really) arcs ever. Especially 17 who was lowkey MVP for universe 7 despite Goku carrying it.
After seeing the new movie, I keep hoping Krillin figures out something _amazing_ with his signature moves. Like... what if he could turn his whole ass _aura_ into a kienzan, or just learned to block ki attacks with it?
This is barely related but man, it was really cool how everybody had their little thing back in the first half of Z. Piccolo had the special beam cannon, Goku had the spirit bomb, Krillin had the kienzan, Tien had the tri beam, etc. Vegeta's really the only one who just shoots generic beams and fights on power alone, which eventually ended up being the standard across the entire series. Who would have thought that the villain-turned-cautionary-tale would be the role model for every martial artist going forward, to the point where even Roshi is calling Goku out (in the manga) for acting like Vegeta.
Oh please, you forget about Hyperspace which has more space than 3D. Saitama is Universe+ cause he deflects Garou's Hyperspace in the manga. Also, he hasn't shown full power. So, Saitama one shot Krillin.

I think my favourite krillin moment is when first meeting chiazou and he's insulting krillin by calling him bald and krillin is like you're bald too and chiazou removes his hat to reveal he actually has 1 hair and isn't technically bald x'D
Krillin's greatest attributes are loyalty, righteousness and a willingness to stand against all odds. He represents a human's ability to adapt and to overcome any situation especially when someone they care about is put in danger. Krillin was just human but he had the heart of a Sayian warrior.
People always rip on Krillin for “dying all the time”: For the record in the original series he died 3 times. All 3 were actually very dramatic and 2 were super plot relevant. And all 3 times he was killed by someone who, at the moment of his death, were WAY stronger than Goku at the time (hence the plot relevance). First was Tamborine, who BODIED Goku when he tried to take revenge. Second was Freeza, which that was the whole point: he was too strong for Goku’s Spirit Bomb, killed Krillin, and THAT unlocked Super Saiyan, and third was second form Buu who already killed Everyone Else! Fans treatment of Krillin has been very unfair and uncalled for imho
So I love krillen as much as everyone else here but everyone seems to forget that saitama is like a saiyan on drugs. He doesn’t get stronger after each fight. He gets stronger after every hit. So if UI goku hit him with full power then immediately after that saitama would be able to hit just as hard as that if not harder. Sadly while saitama may not start as the strongest character his growth is so off the damn charts that no one would be able to last more then a few minutes against him.
We have no idea how fast Saitama can grow. He surpassed cosmic Garou easily but he was already slightly more powerful from the beginning of the fight. Saitama has no feats to suggest he could close such a huge power gap like UI within seconds to minutes so stop making shit up. Broly's exponential power increase was much more impressive than what Saitama showed yet even he couldn't overcome a huge power gap when presented with SSJB Gogeta.

So everytime garou copied his strength he absorbed the hit and got exponentially stronger. So it does stand to reason that he should be able to do it with much stronger hits. There was nothing suggesting that there was a cap on just how much he can absorb from a single hit. On top of that for the most part dbs characters almost never go full power from the very start. Krillen would be the hardest opponent that saitama has and probably will ever fight but I still think that he will come out on top

The base version of it was a mix of several continental beings and then it got an unknown amp that we basically have no info on the significance of. What we do know is that the Cataclysm was multi-continental, or destroying the whole earth's surface if we're being generous, and Nappa could do that much easier. This also depends on what Madara we're talking about. 10-Tails revived full power Madara (pre Kaguya) vs Nappa would probably be an interesting fight. Although, Goku and Vegeta here are far beyond planet level and they solo most of Naruto bar probably exactly post 10 tails level characters that also have hacks that they couldn't avoid.

Something you didn't mention, is after Killin fought Gohan, he fought Goku. He actually forced Goku to go Super Sayian. That's pretty impressive considering that even Frieza 4th form couldn't do that in Resurrection F until Frieza went Gold. In that sparing match, they do a classic beam struggle as well, with Goku in Blue form. Krillin actually managed to push Goku back a bit during that. Yes, Goku was holding back, but the fact that Krillin pushed it back at all is very impressive. Especially when you consider the power multipliers that Blue gives Goku.

Krillin has been my favorite Dragon Ball character for as long as I can remember.
He was awesome in the Super Dragon Ball Z game and it made me go back and appreciate him in a new light.
When Master Roshi said that Krillin was always THERE it basically reaffirmed everything I believed.

Dude's one of my top 3 characters in Dragon Ball. Right up there with 17 and Frieza, IMO. It's a shame he gets the background character treatment so badly. Hell, he did manage to hold out for about a minute vs SSJB Goku during that beam struggle. Even if Goku wasn't going all out, that has to count for something.
Haha. After TOP 17 and Frieza also land in my favorite characters. These two had the best redemption (Not really) arcs ever. Especially 17 who was lowkey MVP for universe 7 despite Goku carrying it.

This is barely related but man, it was really cool how everybody had their little thing back in the first half of Z. Piccolo had the special beam cannon, Goku had the spirit bomb, Krillin had the kienzan, Tien had the tri beam, etc. Vegeta's really the only one who just shoots generic beams and fights on power alone, which eventually ended up being the standard across the entire series. Who would have thought that the villain-turned-cautionary-tale would be the role model for every martial artist going forward, to the point where even Roshi is calling Goku out (in the manga) for acting like Vegeta.
Ichigo would do that to cell max, also you said base cabba is as strong as base vegeta, not even remotely close.

Goku is the Universe because he shakes the Void, the Void is infinite, so it must be bigger as Macrocosm which is scales 3D. There is nothing else Universe+ or Low Multiverse. Goku SSG must be at Multi-Star because the Universe was not destroyed and the Earth still exists, those people just frick and think the Universe going destroy but it won't happen. And yet Goku SSG still lose to Beerus without tired or sweat. So, Dragon Ball is a Low Multiverse at max. Even, Gogeta and Broly are Universe+ because Broly and Gogeta break the dimension in SSJ.

People always rip on Krillin for “dying all the time”:
For the record in the original series he died 3 times. All 3 were actually very dramatic and 2 were super plot relevant. And all 3 times he was killed by someone who, at the moment of his death, were WAY stronger than Goku at the time (hence the plot relevance).
First was Tamborine, who BODIED Goku when he tried to take revenge. Second was Freeza, which that was the whole point: he was too strong for Goku’s Spirit Bomb, killed Krillin, and THAT unlocked Super Saiyan, and third was second form Buu who already killed Everyone Else!
Fans treatment of Krillin has been very unfair and uncalled for imho

So I love krillen as much as everyone else here but everyone seems to forget that saitama is like a saiyan on drugs. He doesn’t get stronger after each fight. He gets stronger after every hit. So if UI goku hit him with full power then immediately after that saitama would be able to hit just as hard as that if not harder. Sadly while saitama may not start as the strongest character his growth is so off the damn charts that no one would be able to last more then a few minutes against him.
We have no idea how fast Saitama can grow. He surpassed cosmic Garou easily but he was already slightly more powerful from the beginning of the fight. Saitama has no feats to suggest he could close such a huge power gap like UI within seconds to minutes so stop making shit up. Broly's exponential power increase was much more impressive than what Saitama showed yet even he couldn't overcome a huge power gap when presented with SSJB Gogeta.
@@thekingpin11 Broly was insane but his strength was tied to his anger if I recall. Saitama however had his strength tired to what ever hit him. So everytime garou copied his strength he absorbed the hit and got exponentially stronger. So it does stand to reason that he should be able to do it with much stronger hits. There was nothing suggesting that there was a cap on just how much he can absorb from a single hit. On top of that for the most part dbs characters almost never go full power from the very start. Krillen would be the hardest opponent that saitama has and probably will ever fight but I still think that he will come out on top

By the way despite all the powerscaling and feats demonstrated in the video I do believe that Saitama beats Krillin. Just don't agree he can roll with the likes of Top tier DB characters at the moment like TUI Goku UE Vegeta Beast Gohan & Black Frieza.

Goku may grow stronger at an honesty insane rate but even he can’t keep up with that. That would be like him getting hit by jiren and instantly being as strong as himself and jiren combined.
