dood. when you've created such a known piece of songwriting, i guess it's rewarding and gives you energy to hear the CROWD sing your words to you? john wasn't being lazy in the slightest. afterall it IS one of the most known choruses in the world. to me, he IS one if not THE greatest songwriter of my time. hey Patricia Sanchez Lopez... its called allowing the fans to sing along and enjoy the concert. And 10 times out of 10 the true fans love it, But in your case that would be 9 out of ten. :)
OMG, first comment, haha. No, I actually had something to say, that I think John somehow dislkes all those security guys, following his every step. At least I'd be annoyed by that.
Why would he not sing the chorus? What the fuck? I'm glad I didn't go in 2007.. I was just looking at travelling to the states to see Goo Goo Dolls when I have some money.
All you people dissing the chorus are probably spoiled rotten and don't know a good time when u see one. The Goo Goo Dolls kicked ass today. Oh and by the way, try and enjoy the show :)
Clearly struggling with his voice at this gig. Letting the audience do every high note. Basically didn't perform here. Holds the note at the end of the secnod chorus in an attempt to give him more leeway with the crowd. It makes it feel like he isn't just bailing on the song.
Johnny Rzeznik was down to earth....love you forever goo goo dolls band.... 💕💕💕💕💕
Having goo goo dolls play the daytime of a festival rather than headline should be a crime
Troppo bravo John!!l ultima rock star...
He hits the High notes today
Wow! Love it! 🥰

Indeed he is!!
I would be pissed. I dont wanna hear the people around me sing the chorus. I want to hear the band lol
When you hear the crowd you can feel the crowd!!! Awesome, you should get into it some time!!! Be a part of the magic💜💞💜
If I wanted to hear the band only, I wouldn't go to the concert
They could speak to the mic back in 1998-2019, you can't now until 2021
@@guitarguy5 Wow, you go to concerts so you can hear the crowds sing over the band's most iconic songs? That's quite the fetish.

I love how he was pushing them out of the way. As if he was saying.... Move it, I need to interact with my fans. Lol

hey DDSIMA, have you ever been to a real concert, just wondering
Touring is rough on the voice. He prob couldn’t nail those hi notes that day. So he turned it over to the audience. Weird, yes. But the right call.

Very true
I hate his BASS player!
Me to o
Oh no! Don't hate on Robby! He is the coolest guy. Very down to Earth. He's also been a true friend to John, he helped keep him grounded💕
@@tyraonortham6545 that is so true and they're been together since 1985 when they formed the band...best friends and brothers
