Nicklelback is an amazing band. The hate is unexplicable and excuseless. Like it or not, they're really good.
I think its because many of their songs have coherent meaning, many of their songs are encouraging and uplifting, or about owning mistakes we make in life, healing hearts, making right with enemies. if you havent noticed that is counter to the narrative of the Global parasites who only want to steal kill and destroy.
Its more what rock was before the whole Post Grunge scene that rubs people the wrong way. Rock music could be so different were as post Grunge songs seemed so generic and boring. Its not bad on its own Its just comparatively to previous scenes seems really bland and dry and generic bland bands becoming popular really changed how rock sounded for the worse overall

It's crazy how Nickleback still has the same pitch on stage and can still get really loud without voice cracking.
Seen them live in 2024 and loved every minute definitely worth watching them live
When I’m young, this song to me is about anger and resentment.
When I got older, this song to me is about profound regret and sadness.

So, ya'll say the crowd was very quiet, or "death". But that's because the sounds of this vid are from the instrument it's self or they record the sounds from the fcking amp, so that's make the crowd noise didn't get recorded on the vid.

I have only good things to say about Nickelback, not just great rock music artists, but great Canadian boys! Chad has spent many hours supporting new artists, training, coaching and even ghost writing songs that he never took credit.

The only way to really be able to pick up the audience would've been to increase the gain on the mic which would've led to feedback or have overhead mics which I guess they didn't want to use if I were to guess

Never understood the undying hatred so many people have for this band. They aren't the greatest, but they are far from the worst out there and at least the play their own instruments and perform for real on stage.
Chad can definitely be a shitty person at times, fair amount of songs follow the exact same formula while some are literally the same song just with different lyrics which is lazy as hell.
Moo I agree with Chad being a douche canoe, but most current music follows the same formula. They were just one of the first groups to hop on the bandwagon and made it obvious
