Siam Mandarina (Room Tour) - Where to Stay in Bangkok Near Suvarnabhumi Airport

  • First, the Siam Mandarina hotel is close to Suvarnabhumi airport (about a 10-15 minute drive) but also sort of outside the chaos of Bangkok (that chaos being airport traffic).
We stayed here for our first night in Thailand. We only stayed one night as our first destination was Chon Buri (be sure to watch our video where we visited The Man That Rescues Dogs) and we spent some time in Pattaya.
However, we plan to stay at Siam Mandarina again for our final few days in Thailand. And you'll see why as you watch the video.
The hotel has a beautiful and welcoming entrance. We stayed on November, 9th and they already had a huge Christmas tree in the lobby.
We had the Double Deluxe room with breakfast (we opted for a king sized bed but believe you can request double beds). Very spacious, super clean, and the bed was really comfortable.
Our room also had a bathtub, which is nice after a long flight from the United States to Bangkok.
The breakfast buffet was amazing with a huge variety of food and beverages.
    * We go over that thoroughly in the video.
There's also a massage place at the hotel (we didn't have time to use it but will next time).
They also have a nice pool and their gym is a gym that Jason could workout in everyday (thought we didn't have time for a workout but we will definitely use this gym when we stay here again!). Tons of free weights, Smith Machine and other machines that you would find in a proper gym.
We hope you enjoyed watching our review and experience of staying at the Siam Mandarina hotel in Bangok. And we can't wait to stay here again.

You'll love it! We wish we had stayed there longer. We were only there for a night as we were driving to Chon Buri the next day. We used this hotel just to rest up after the long flight but next time will consider staying for at least two nights. It's an awesome hotel!

I’m not sure as we rented a car at Suvarnabhumi airport. But most of the hotels have some sort of shuttle service but not certain a if it’s free. Because its close, I would guess it would only be 200 baht give or take

I stayed here as well before. I arrived in the airport late and took a taxi.

It depends on where you're at. Bangkok is a mix. But where we are at the moment in Si Racha (Chon Buri province), I'm one of very few 'falangs' (means foreigner in Thai). But I love it. This is a welcoming country, for the most part. It does help that I speak Thai (I'm lower-intermediate).
